The one I bought at Home Depot was too short, so an endless parade of mice were getting in which was super fun for the cat, but not so much for me… took that one off and added this one. It was very easy to cut to size. To make the marks to cut it I used a cheap white eyeliner pencil which I keep on hand for just this reason! All you do is peel the backing off and stick it on there, just be sure it’s straight and you’re good. The adhesive is pretty powerful so will probably last a long time. If it eventually comes off that’s okay, I’ll just put holes in it and screw it on there, because there are pre-existing holes drilled in it already. The stopper is made of heavy rubber and totally covers the gap, which will help the heating and cooling costs. It is somewhat floppy, soi hope the mice are not strong enough to push through-but it’s definitely beefier than the one that was on there before, it’s easier to install than the U-shaped type which hugs the bottom of the door. It matches the black trim molding nicely as well. It definitely checks all the boxes, I’m glad I bought two!

Heavy duty, large enough to cover the full gap under the front door. Self stick adhesive STICKS. Get it right the first time. Needed white but it wasn’t available, but color didn’t really matter since it’s on the inside at the bottom of the door.

I ordered it for my front door (it's an old door)...The door sweeper is nothing fancy, but it solved my issue. Would more so recommend this for a garage door. I am satisfied with my purchase.

Use good scissor for cutting bring pretty thick. Adheres well
