Decent stiff rod for bullying fish
Good stiff rod, light with decent casting range. When taken down is easily carried on a motorbike to get to hard to reach places, delivery was faster than stated which could cause problems if your missus is in lol

Bison Travel Rod - give it a look
I was looking for a Surf Travel Rod, very hard work promise as nothing out there that fits. Then I came across this item. I YouTube’d to check it out, again not many as it only came to market in June 2020.The price is great though I do wonder what margins are left for the seller let alone cost to build in terms of quality for the buyer. The rod is stiff, not very bendy (past reviews x 3 only, did mention that), it’s nicely tucked into a hard shell travel bag. Again not yet tested out on the water - lockdown. It’s lacking Eva Grips (personal thing) around the section where the real is attached plus further up on the 2nd piece. Also, if you look at the picks, the circumference of that real attachment area is uneven, it may be weak on one side I feel (TBC). The rod arrived with a few scratches (see pics), I have no idea why given how it’s packaged (I did reach out to the supplier who was very kind enough to help resolve , so A+).As for build quality- it is what you pay for in the end in my opinion as I’ve NOT seen much better in price range (taking about Assassin / Penn). After this it’s £250+ and they are mainly 7ft.I’ve not used the rod as yet and I may likely only get to use it in May or Jun of 2021 when I head to Cape Town for some fishing. I see it can carry up to 8oz, I may only attempt 6oz for the most. Sensitivity, it’s likely it won’t feel the nibbles of smaller edible fish but that’s not what I’m fishing for, besides you can few nibbles via the line like any good fishing would do.For the price, it’s not bad. Compared to the other brand I found via Amazon at x 3 times the price (the only other option which I bought but then returned as it had some winding clip by the real area which was annoying to me), I can live with.I gave Stretch x 3 stars because it’s not that bendy & four stars because because rod the scratches on the product which I can’t explain but raised with the manufacturer who’s yet to respond.

It a good casting for the price
It casts well with a 4 to 5 oz weigh but I wouldn't not heavier

Handy , but joints won't push right together fully
Despite joining limitation, still used it for beach castingHowever have not tested with any large load.

very powerfull rod
I used this rod in northern Norway easily hauled cod upto 20lbs through rocks and kelp so strong it ripped leads clear of snags, I read a reveiw of a man using it in south africa shark fishing.great bit of kit when power needed.

Awful
Don't waste money on this ! At first glance looked good ,would have sent it back but didn't use it for a while through illness . Just used it and it's awful ,the sections don't lock together and move around , and the reel grip just spins as the plastic nut does nothing at all ! Overall would be better buying a cheap telescopic rod !
