Is the heel height much lower than the rest of the sandal?

This is a difficult question to answer. At the back of the heel, the footbed of the sandal is higher (off the floor) than at the ball of the foot and lower than at the arch. "Much" is a relative term and I won't attempt to do any measuring, because that may vary with size. You probably need to try on a pair.
