I have an old stack stereo system that I rebuilt but discovered I had no speakers. I do have a bluetooth transmitter and bluetooth speakers, however. The system is so old, there is no bluetooth facility and speakers have to be wired in. Solution: plug the transmitter into the headphone socket - ah, problem: headphone socket takes ¼” jack and transmitter lead is 3mm. so adapter needed. Bought this. Problem solved! Excellent sound and new life for old stack system and no trailing speaker wires. Happy bunny me

It actually works
This plug is twice the price than se other plugs, but this one work's in fact I bought 3 altogether and they all work as they should because the small jack on headphones fits tight, whereas on cheaper ones they don't as the connection is too loose for a proper contact

Very poor quality!
Good points: very shiny gold colour. Bad points: it doesn't work! The adaptor fits into the headphone socket well, BUT the 3.5mm headphone plug is a very loose fit in the adaptor and only gives intermittent sound on one channel (if you're lucky). It would probably cost more to return it than it's worth, very disappointed!

J'ai utilisé cet adaptateur pour brancher mon casque à un piano numérique dont la prise jack exigeait 6,5mm. J'en suis très satisfaite.
