Day three. I dont know how others are applying it, but follow the instructions and keep it in for more than 60 mins. I did for an hour and half.

This is a thicker cross. I chose to put mine on my inner wrist. A bit hard because you basically can't move your hand much for 60 minutes but I just watched a movie. I don't know if it was the best choice in placement because the ink seemed to bleed a little. As it darkened it got worse and started looking a bit smeared at the top. I used a salt scrub and a coarse pad to try to exfoliate around the top of the cross and clean it up a little. It kind of worked..it's not perfect but not as obviously bad as before. It doesn't have crisp lines though so maybe be mindful of that when choosing where to apply. This is my 2nd inkbox tattoo and the first one I used on my lower calf just above the ankle. It came out pretty well though a little splotchy on a couple parts. I really try to follow the instructions and all the suggestions but haven't had a perfect application yet. That being said I still appreciate the concept and will definitely try more.

I am not happy with this temporary tattoo. It has not even been 24 hours and it smudges all over. I did as directed and left it covered for 60 minutes after applying. Also, it is SO thick. The picture show it thinner.

I've been using Inkbox tattoos every once in a while for a year or two now and I'm glad that they've now made their way to Amazon. If you aren't familiar with their concept, it is basically the adult version of a temporary tattoo. They go one pretty much like the dinosaur temporary tattoos you used in kindergarten, but these look a lot more realistic and last for about a week. They go on looking kind of blue and a little too light, but gradually turn black and get darker over the next 24 hours. In general, Inkbox tattoos are a great way to "try on" a tattoo or (for indecisive and impulsive people like me) have the fun of getting a tattoo without the fear that you'll regret it in a year. With this specific tattoo (which I have had in my wish list on Inkbox's site for over a year now), the size is a little bit of an issue when applying it. Bigger tattoos have more of the plastic to hold and work with, but this little guy requires more delicacy than I have, so mine ended up more than a little slanted, but that's a user error.

not wrinkle friendly: I like Inkbox, but they have a bit of information they forgot to mention in their (sparse) instructions--- you can't put this down on ANY wrinkles. kind of a big deal when you'll be rocking their tattoo for around two weeks So there I was, after reading- (and rereading) the info-- I placed the tat, I had my hand still- everything looked fine, and then I looked down much later and the cross had grown a ton of river lines. I wasn't savvy this product would run- seeing that it appears "taped in place" well- now I know better. I'm in my 30's- my hand has some wrinkle lines- but this makes it look way worse then it is. My tattoo artist went over that long line in my hand without any trouble, so I wasn't thinking about that. I've been thinking about getting a centered tat on my hand, so this was the natural place for me to test this- but all it would take is a line in the instructions about smooth skin placement and this wouldn't have been a problem. I've been trying to clean the river lines off, but sadly they are protected --by being lower in-- so I haven't made much difference yet. Inkbox color: In my picture you'll see part of a real tattoo on my hand-- look to the lower left, and the Inkbox cross. --so they have the color of a black tattoo almost spot on. I'm happy with the realism in this look. putting the tat on: This isn't going to be like applying a normal fake tattoo, it's an hour long process, (mostly waiting- but you'll probably want to stay still) so If you get a good result- this is the bomb. So if you're looking into getting an inkbox- I wouldn't just read their provided info, I'd watch many a youtube video from other people first. Best of luck. I hope I was helpful!

It went on easy and lasted for two weeks. The color was deep . Good product. A little expensive but the durability was worth it.

The very first day this looked real. My daughter thought I got a tattoo! I even washed my dishes several times and took a shower with it on and water didn't phase it. The second day it turned a lot darker. I really love it. I am going to look into getting some more. I don't really want a permanent tattoo but one that lasts a few weeks and looks real is pretty cool!

I really like this brand and style of temporary tattoo. I accidentally fell asleep while the sticker was applied, and slept for 6 hours. By the time I had take the sticker off, the tattoo was very present! I've had it on my forearm for 4 days, and it is still very bright and vibrant! The sticker was a little itchy initially, but that soon faded. My tattoo smeared a little during my 6 hour slumber but not enough for anyone to ask me about my botched tattoo...lol. I have received LOTS of compliments so far. My only suggestion is to apply to the tattoo while you are wide awake instead of at 1 a.m. like I did. This tattoo is AMAZING and I'll definitely be ordering more! I highly recommend!

Could’ve lasted longer but served its purpose and well. Overall, looked great, lasted roughly 2 weeks. As advertised. Very dark blue too, looked nearly black, looked pretty real.

Lasted almost 2 weeks. A little pricy but a good way to try a tattoo without the permanent decision.
