Several features make this a great product. All the attachments are well designed and will work with nearly any pool ladder and with each other. The bunge cord is shorter than other kits and allows swimming in short backyard, hotel or cruise ship pools. The belt is quick to don, once you have figured it out the first time, so is the attachment to the pool ladder and connecting the bunge cord is easy on both sides. Not to mention a good price.

Use to tether in swimming pool. I swim predominantly breast stroke or back stroke. I generally use 45 minutes to an hour 5x week and wear a mask and snorkel. It’s not as functional for the crawl or flutter kicking due to bungee cord position. No problems with the attachments, belt, or cord. The belt is comfortable. Reasonably priced and I anticipate I will need to replace sometime in the next few season as the chlorine exposure is significant.

I've been using this swim belt for a little over a week and I can confirm: I am an extremely fast swimmer who goes absolutely nowhere. The bungee cord has excellent resistance, the belt stays snug without cutting into you, and the tether length is generous enough that you get a full, satisfying stroke before physics reminds you who's boss. Setup took about two minutes. The adjustable fit works well for different body types. The real surprise is how hard a stationary swim workout actually is. I expected to feel silly. I did not expect to be completely wrecked after 20 minutes. Consider this your warning and your endorsement simultaneously. Great build quality, no fraying after regular use, and it stores easily in a bag. If you want to get faster, stronger, and slightly humbled by a bungee cord, this is your product. No video of it in use, because nobody wants to see that! (My pool neighbors think I'm training for something important. I have not corrected them.)

Works ok but, I wish the stretch band would have been a bit tighter. My pool is 35' in length and I can almost touch the wall while swimming. The elastic cord should be a stronger or maybe shorter. I'm happy with this product servers my purpose.

My wife got this so she could swim in our pool that is really too short to swim well it’s not the same as swimming in a lap pool. It does her give her the ability to get some swimming in.

I was looking for high end priced lap swim belts. I had a specific picture of how I thought these harnesses would work and may change my stroke and I didn't think I'd like this type of belt. I decided to try to less expensive style 1st. I was very pleased. I wrapped the anchor around the diving board base which leaves the anchor out of the water. Its easy to change the fit to make it comfortable to each person. I don't get tangled in any of the 4 major strokes. I love backstroke, I can swim to my hearts content without hitting a wall. I will say that I do miss flip turns. To care for that, I'll swim w/o the harness before or after and get my mileage in with the harness. I would recommend this harness, if you have a pool at home that isn't long enough to do laps. My husband and my son do an extra wrap around the diving board base as they pull harder than I do and that shortens the line. My pool is in-ground. Super easy, well made, and exactly what I needed for a great price!

Been using to swim and has worked out great

7 minutes. I tested this out and it seamed to work fine, even had a 8 year old daughter try it. It seamed to have a good amount of stretch…. But it worked! My setup was the strap tied to a tall fiberglass pole…. However when I had time to do a workout it lasted only 7 minutes until the rubber pulled out of the strap. I’m at least glad it snapped back to the pole and not me…. I was doing backstroke at the time and that could have really hurt…. Maybe this was defective, but didn’t handle sustained load very well.

i dont use the rubber bit as i already have a line setup however the belt is great and makes it a little more ergomonic

Just used it once, it seems to work. I am not sure how long the elastic band will last. Time will tell. The red cover on the belt slide as you swim and will cover the buckle. When you try to undo the buckle, you need to search for it. I believe it is over priced. Before buying this I had made one myself which worked better than this, still I will not return it. To be fair, it is over priced for sure.
