Our 18-month old grout around our bathroom was showing grey, orange, brown and black mildew. I tried to keep it at bay with spray on mildew cleaners and bleach which kind of worked for a bit, but after a while it became clear that the spray wasn't able to reach the mildew or stay on long enough to kill the mildew and the stains had become somewhat permanent despite scrubbing. So, I came to Amazon to find a gel product and tried this one based on reviews.The product arrived very well packaged -- I assume to make sure it doesn't leak in transit. I applied per the instructions with the exhaust fan on, although I did not notice any strong odor. The application was easy and the gel is SUPER viscous and clingy--it pretty much stays put exactly where and how you applied it for the whole process. About 2 hours in, I noticed the stains lightening. At 5 hours, they looked gone. At 8 hours, I washed off the gel, super happy with the result. Do note that because the product is viscous, you might need more than water to rinse it off. Since we have bad water pressure in the shower, I had to go at it with a sponge.All in all, my only regret is that I wasted time and effort with spray on products and scrubbing. Never again. I don't always write reviews that are this elaborate and include pics, but I'm so pleased with how well this product worked, I wanted to give a shout out to the company and hopefully save you some effort.

I have never given an Amazon review before, but this company went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied.I ordered this product and followed the instructions and it did nothing. It was also not the gel consistency as advertised. I was ready to write it off as a waste of money.The next day the manufacturer reached out to me to see if I was satisfied and to ask if the product I received was a gel consistency because they had been having some issues with their manufacturing. I told them it did not work and it was very liquidy. They offered me a refund or a replacement. I took the replacement and I'm glad I did because it worked fantastic! I wish I had a before photo.

I had high hopes for this product and am disappointed to write this review. We have poor ventilation in our bathroom and constantly battle mold in/under the caulk sealant in our shower. I left it on for the maximum prescribed time of 10 hours. Absolutely no change. Maybe it works if the stains are on top of the grout. But it does not work at all if the mold has gotten under the caulk sealant. I am back to the original plan of resealing the shower.The product was nicely packaged and very tightly sealed. (In fact, the foil seal on the bottle was so tight I struggled to get it off, even with a paring knife.) The gel is easy to apply and super thick. Even though they warn to use ventilation, I did not notice an odor (which does make me wonder if there are any active ingredients in it at all). Unfortunately, I am outside the 30-day return window, so I am stuck with a product that does absolutely nothing. Live and learn. Buyer beware.

**UPDATE 6/8/22**Supplier reached out and sent a new bottle of product. The new bottle contains a proper gel and works as advertised. They stated that there was a bad batch. I have updated the review to 4 stars as the gel holds in place well and tackles light staining on grout and silicone effectively. If you received a bottle of product that was thin like water, let the supplier know so it can be replaced......I had purchased this product about two years ago and was pleased. The original bottle had a viscous gel that clung to the tile or grout line and had minimal odor....it worked really well.The newest bottle I received has a viscosity similar to water and immediately flows away from the application site. It also burns my eyes but doesn't seem to have any effect on the staining. I don't know if this is a bad batch or a change in the product. Either way, it no longer applies or works as advertised.

I'm surprised that there are all these bad reviews! I was definitely a skeptic, I dealt with bad black mold in my last apartments shower and it just got so out of control, I didn't know how to fix it. I tried vinegar and just about everything and nothing got rid of it. So when I started seeing mold spots in my new apartment shower I knew I had to fix it before I got out of control like my last apartment did. I bought this product and I also brought what was basically a "white out" to cover up the mold in case this product did not work, to my surprise I put it on around 3:00 p.m. and left it on overnight. The next day all the mold was gone. Although, I didn't have a huge mold infestation, it was just spots starting to appear here and there that I wanted to take care of before it became out of control. I should have probably taken a before and after picture but I really didn't have high expectations that it was going to work at all. There were a few small mold spots on the grout or caulking of the inside of my shower and like I said, I wanted to take care of it before I got out of control. It's a thick gel substance, and the next day when I went to take a shower there wasn't a single remnant that mold had ever been in my shower. Not thrilled that I wasted money on the "mold white out" because I never needed to use it but this product works like a charm. I would definitely buy it again.I don't post a lot of reviews cuz I usually don't really care enough to do so but I was so shocked that this worked so well I had to post a good review. Not as strong as I thought it would be.

This gel cleaner did a fantastic job removing mold buildup from my front loading washing machine. Now the rubber material looks good as new!

This was advertised as a gel that sticks to grout and cleans it after several hours. First of all, it is not a gel. It is a watery liquid that runs does not stick and just drains away. Second, it does not work. I applied it to the mold, left it overnight and saw no difference to the treated area. I think the liquid in the bottle is just water. Save your money. Do not buy this.Update: After I wrote this review, the company contacted me and sent me another bottle of the product free of charge. This was thicker and gel like and it worked great!! My original order must have been a bad batch. And I want to commend the customer service folks at Followin. They reached out and made it right. I am ordering two more bottles.
