The Good Child Proof window sliding door lock works surprisingly well and is fairly small. We actually use it to prevent thieves from coming in through the sliding door as well as preventing our daughter from leaving. As stated, it's pretty unobtrusive which I like. Install was very easy; just has an adhesive to attach. If you do remove and place somewhere else you'll likely need a new adhesive (not provided). Ease of use: it's easy to use, just press the side buttons to engage it and then press it down to disengage. This is a very affordable option to keep your little ones safe as well as preventing intruders from coming in.

I absolutely love these! They are great for an added layer of protection and to keep children from opening doors and windows! They are very easy to set up, and work great! They are also very durable.

These are great! We have an escape artist and we had a bar lock across the back door that my danger child figured out and would constantly run out the back door. These are great because I stuck it at the top of the sliding glass door and danger child can’t reach it to snap it closed to unlock the door. Super easy to install, easy to use to lock and unlock, and it stays in place. Pleasantly surprised with the durability and ease of use. Absolutely worth it if you’re running out of other child safety tools.

These work really well and are easy to install. They do feel a little flimsy but so far they seem to hold up well.

I have a pretty weak toddler, which is standard of toddlers, but this did a great job of keeping her out of her closet. This is ideal because she really only ever goes into the closet to pull down all of her shirts and make a mess of a pile of her pants and shoes and whatnot- occasionally she goes in there to poop as well probably because she is ashamed of her choices. HOWEVER the sliding closet doors that we were trying to keep her out of are the kind that are plated with mirror, pretty expensive doors honestly. and unfortunately toddlers, even as weak as they are, sometimes figure out ways around devices like these. in the case of our daughter, she figured out she could just pull the door out instead of sliding it over, toppling the door with mirror glass onto her floor (thank the Lord it didn't land on her). Because of this, we had to replace her very expensive closet door and we took the lock off the other closet door. Because the other door was also a mirror, it was very important to me to remove all of the adhesive from this lock when I was taking it off- it did give me a bit of trouble, but just using some WD-40 got the remainder of adhesive off, and it motivated me to windex the whole door. In a way, this affordable, perfectly fitting, nice quality product is the reason I have a brand new closet door, and both are sparkling clean.

We bought these because we have a child who is special needs and didn't want her constantly getting outside on our deck. The only problem is we put it on the window a bit too low....worked great for awhile and then she figured out she could reach it HAHA. Once it's on the door it's stuck on their good so there was no moving it once it was on (thankfully it came with two because the first one we put too far out and it was just enough room for her to fit out the door! Very good quality and works well! Just make sure you put it up higher/not too far over on the door.

Check measurements carefully. They are quite thick so now the door makes a scraping noise when I open it.

These work really well for keeping my toddler from opening our sliding door once he learning how to use the handle lol. Total peace of mind! They were super easy to install and feel nice and sturdy once in place. I also like how they blend in nicely with the door frame so they don’t stand out too much. The only small issue is that sometimes when you pinch the buttons, the locking mechanism doesn’t pop up right away. You sort of have to jiggle it a bit every now and then to get it to snap open. Not a huge deal at all though - it still does the trick and keeps everything safely locked when it needs to be. Overall really happy with them and would recommend if you need to child proof your sliding doors!
