FolkArt Acrylic Paint in Assorted Colors (2 oz), 456, TRUE Burgundy

Love the color and consistency of this paint. I've used this bottle on three separate occasions to paint dollar tree planters in order to make them look a bit more expensive. For this particular project, I added some white acrylic paint from dollar tree to this paint along with some baking powder to add some texture. The size is perfect for testing the colors before committing to a large bottle. I did not find the odor strong nor offensive. Because the weather was cold out, I decided to use it inside the house. There was no over powering or lingering odor. Drying time was about 2 hours considering that I used multiple layers and baking powder to the mixture. Overall, I love the excellent coverage of the paint and would definitely purchase again and also try other colors for different crafts or projects.

These are craft acrylic paints, and they all work really well no matter the brand. They may not be professional-grade, but they perform perfectly. Some colors may need more than one layer for full coverage, but that’s very easy to work with. They’re extremely affordable, easy to find, and the variety of colors available is amazing. The only tip I would add is that if you can, consider getting a professional-grade white for very bright final highlights. Craft paint whites are usually not as strong or opaque. Overall, a great value and very fun to use.

These paints are great color and consistency and I like that they are AP certified.

The perfect thickness and coverage. The colors are amazing. The only downside, which is why 4 stars instead of 5, is the occasional watery bottle.

I used this paint on a couple of small wood and canvas projects, and it was easy to work with straight from the bottle. The Burnt Sienna color is a deep, warm brown with a slight reddish tone that looks very true to what you would expect, not muddy or dull. It went on smoothly with a brush and leveled out nicely as it dried, with good coverage after two thin coats. I did notice it dries a bit darker than when wet, so keeping that in mind helps when layering or color mixing. The bottle size is perfect for frequent craft use without worrying about waste. This is a solid pick for artists, hobby painters, or DIY projects where you want a dependable, classic color that blends well and holds up over time.

Ich habe bereits Matte Acrylfarben von einer anderen Marke, die sind allerdings im Vergleich zu dieser Marke nicht so streifenfrei wie diese. Die Farben von folk art gefallen mir deutlich besser. Leider sind die etwas teuer. Ich bin froh, dass ich diese für mich entdeckt habe und freue mich damit zu arbeiten. Ich werde definitiv noch welche bestellen.
