Got these soldier fly larve for my larger flowerhorns, so far my fish love the food and are showing progress in just 2 days. Must buy and value for money product, I got the smallest bottle and the quantity is pretty good! Note - Seen people leave bad ratings for using it for the wrong fish, read before buying! This is not meant for goldfish and small fish! Only meant for cichlids, flowerhorns, arowana and aggressive fish! Like with any other meaty/high protein treats, this will mildly pollute water quality, be diligent and maintain your water quality!

Pro-The product is good and my oscars eat them without hesitation We will have to see about growth as I continue feeding them. Con-The product releases oily protein substance that forms a biofilm over the tabk water surface and requires heavy agitation on surface to remove.i suggest to soak in water before giving 5o fish in the tank.

I waited for some time before writing a review. It's been some weeks I started feed my Oscar this product and I have to say my Oscar just keeps begging for more. Each day I am amazed to see that my Oscar is just popping more colours and also getting bigger real quickly. Very recommended for Oscars since they feed on insects in their natural habitat. Yet I would advise to mix and spply with other food. I do so with staple food/pellets as a main course and the dried worms after them just like dessert.

I was looking for some variety foods for my arowana.. so far i have just fed him dry shimp and hikari sticks.. I bought this product looking at the reviews and they are misleading. These are pathetic. Just hollow tubes which none of my fish liked. It makes the water super cloudy and the shells remain all over the tank. If u want to feed ur pets worms just go for the live ones. Or better, just use pellets. Utterly disappointed.. n i got a big box of this which i used just thrice. If anyone wants them just contact me somehow and u can pick them up to be disappointed yourselves 😂

Hi, I gave it to my pet birds and they totally avoided it. I was mislead by the image of bird on the bottle and thought my pets will love it. So far it has not happened. Will try in controlled amount a couple of more times and will update in 2 weeks or so. May be this is a good product for fishes but for birds so far disappointed. Hoping the tide will turn.

My turtles say "oh! Umph! Yeah!" They will eat this all day everyday. But I'm a bad human I think this is expensive and feed them once a week or so. Seriously though, this is an excellent feed for turtles. But if you feed this regularly they will stop eating other food as it is very tasty for them. I like to treat my turtles like I treat myself and this BSF larvae are at the top of all the various treats I give them.

At first my oscar and parrot was not eating the protyn's larvae as they were used to tetra bits food. I gave them few larvae with the tetra(their old food) and now all they want is the larvae. Its a good source of nutrients for them better then the shrimp-e(cold stored prawns) that i used to give with the tetra. Its little overpriced but worth it when you see your fish grow and happy.

Though my catfish did not eat the product as its not been eating anything except meaty products and I have been cultivating my own maggots and other feed. I found the product to be worth the money. Good packing, nice sized larve.
