I bought it to be a floor sitting cushion, but then I realized that it will make a nice yoga bolster/block, too. Things I like: It’s pretty firm, so it will take a long time to compress. Probably years. There’s a nice layer of foam in between the top fabric and the buckwheat hulls, so it is more comfortable to sit on. That’s a nice bonus. The fabric is very soft to the touch. And the embroidery is done in a beautiful, shiny thread.

This made my heart so so happy! During COVID I took up the journey of meditation; AND as a dance, I have always enjoyed working on the floor and stretching. In this new virtual environment, I needed comfort, and (one) this pillow is visually appealing and drew me in immediately, (two) when I saw it was next day delivery, I couldn't wait, (three) my heart leaped when I saw UPS pull in, (four) when I took this out of its box...set it up and sat on it...perfect finishing touch for my home/floor office. SO SOFT, COMFORTABLE, AND BEAUTIFUL! I LOVE THE COLOR-Ocean Abyss-a very peaceful light mix of tones between gray, blue, and teal!

I've used this cushion daily for over a year now, and I could not be happier. The buckwheat hull filling molds nicely to my bony butt and allows me to sit for extended periods without pressure point pain. The fabric case shows no wear or failed stitching after a year, and it cleans nicely in a washing machine on the delicate cycle. I also purchased the matching zabuton (sitting mat) and its comfort and durability is the same as the cushion. This is truly an excellent product well worth the price. Thank you Florensi!

This just what I needed. I’ve been doing a lot more meditation recently to try to alleviate symptoms of anxiety and stress. I was using anything else I could find that I thought would be suitable for a while but I found myself coming out of meditations with aches and pains which subsequently affected my mood and therefore made the meditation sessions seemingly redundant as I came out of the sessions feeling worse than I did going into them. I did some reflecting on this and realised that this was counter productive. Meditation is an investment in yourself and your wellbeing and there’s no use investing the time into it if you aren’t able to be comfortable while practicing it. Eventually, I did some research on options and found this meditation cushion. I thought I’d give it a try, not expecting a great deal of difference but attempting to keep an open mind. The difference, however, has been significant in a very positive way. I’ve been able to meditate comfortably, which allows me to relax and focus on breathing better. It’s also helped with my posture overall, which seems to make breathing easier too during meditations. The knock on effect of this is that I can take deeper and longer breaths to slow the heart rate and more effectively silence the mind. I felt it was reductive to invest the time in myself, but not the money too. The price was really reasonable for what you get. It’s well made and feels like it is reliable and will stand the tests of time. Ordering via Amazon, I appreciated the quick delivery as it allowed me to get back to meditation quickly. Being somebody who struggles with autism, I need to keep a routine going or my mental health deteriorates very quickly. Being able to get this delivered quickly was greatly appreciated as it was only minimal disruption to my usual meditation routine and I was able to maintain the structure I have set up. I like the fact it has a handle - sometimes I like to meditate outdoors for a change and it would be easy to take with me. It’s a good height off the ground, not too high and not too low which I think adds to the comfort it gives.
