What's the difference between this jxb-178 and the jxb-178 multifunctional? can this one (jxb-178 be used on only adults?

I use the JXB-178. I believe they are all the same. Multi Function means you can use it on people, food, or surfaces. There is no separate function for children.

We purchased three units of berrcom jxb-178. The low battery indicators flash on all units with new batteries with verified voltage. Return them?

Nearly all infrared thermometers are made in China. None are manufactured in the United States, though you may purchase from a company/retailer etc, located in the United States and FDA, approved. Keep in mind China is the tech-capital. I purchased at least 10 infrared thermometers two of which is this brand. I gifted all but one. I have not received any concerns/complaints regarding the units. This is a good buy. It is being sold on HSN (Home Shopping Network) at this very moment regular price $99.00 sale price $49.00 plus $3.50 shipping/handling. Better grab it at a good price. They work very well.

Is it only Cel or both C & F?
