I can’t find my charger or chest strap, anyone know if you can buy these items separately thanks

Yes you can. I think on there website

gps? distance and step counter? included? coming when? = dont want to carry/wear watch or phone additionally...

No, it purely monitors your Heart rhythm. It has the ability to set your Cardio Zones to allow you to view your personal 'Fat Burn' and 'Cardio Zone' and VO2 max. I bought one as a precautionary measure as an "Oldie" restarting exercise. The gadget allows recordings of the graphs like an electronic ECG to be made to allow a Doctor et al to interpret should they need.

What app does it use ? Can it use other apps ?

ViHealth app by Viatom. Beautiful design. I gather one can also use any ANT compatible apps. If you are not using one of ANT compatible apps, definitely go for ViHealth.

Is this a chinese brand?

I believe its American, but I'm guessing made in China like most things
