Stop wasting your money on name brand blades. BUY THESE!
They're the exact same (or likely better) performance as the overpriced name brands! But one major difference - they're a MUCH BETTER PRICE!!!! Buy from the default seller (who sells these via Prime) because I saw a reviewer saying they got "rounded/dull knives", which is NOT TRUE WHEN BOUGHT FROM THE DEFAULT/proper PRIME SELLER! I received super sharp #11 blades that fit into your standard #11-compatible hobby knife blade holders! - CUTTING FAUX FUR: I use these blades INSTEAD OF SCISSORS for cutting faux fur by pressing these just enough to cut the backing but not the actual fibers of the fur, and these are absolutely perfect for that. This allows the fur to NOT "shed". People complain of faux fur "shedding" all the time. No, faux fur doesn't shed enough to warrant complaining UNLESS you don't cut it correctly! Or under the EXTREME rare case that a manufacturer got a bad batch. Extremely rare. PS. If you or anyone else order faux fur from the seller fabric.com SHOULD EXPECT out-of-the-box leftover fur to fly out and "shed". Why? Because fabric.com's employees USE SCISSORS on the faux fur. That leaves LOOSE fibers on your cut of fur! Those LOOSE fibers come off and people think "it's shedding" or "it's cheap". No. No, I'm not paid to do this. I just hate that Jo~Ann's has the NERVE to sell super bad quality fabric for 2-4x the price of many online stores. - NOTE: photographed orange package/container is where the knives are stored. THE EXACT PHOTOGRAPHED PACKAGE itself IS OLD and has been extensively used, thus showing wear that WILL NOT BE PRESENT if you order a brand new pack of these! Here's how it appears when it arrives: CONTAINER: • arrives as a thicker plastic container (think of a similar thickness to the plastic containers that NEED scissors to be opened) with an orange label/wrap to prevent accidental opening. Inside, the blades are very well-protected. The blades inside are all oiled and neatly aligned next to each other in a mini "wall of death by a thousand cuts". But that "wall of death" itself is neatly wrapped in a super thick protective "paper" to prevent dulling blades prior to use as well as preventing accidental cuts/penetration of the container. Tl;dr: • These are #11 hobby blades. They fit standard blade holders. They ARE NOT DULL when you buy them from the current/default Prime seller. I don't know why the current top review says these are dull. That's not true. • If you work with faux fur fabric, these are essential. Don't want "shedding"? Carefully use these to cut the fur backing instead of hacking at the fur with scissors and you're good to go. I recommend buying: faux fur from TheFabricExchange and other fabrics from fabric.com. Not sponsored or paid to say any of this, just my EXTENSIVE experience. Take this as you will. These blades are by FAR a better deal for hobbyists and professionals alike who use #11 knives for anything from modeling to properly cutting faux fur fabric, and more. Best Blades on the Market!!
I had to take time to review these blades! I do leather craft. Mostly holsters. I previously bought an 8 pack of a different brand from Hobby lobby for the same price and the blades were so brittle. They would snap off and dull quickly. So I decided to give these a shot. I didn't have my hopes up since there were so many for such a low price but WOW! I love them!! I will not buy any other blades! These blades don't bend or break. They stay sharp for a long time. Before I would have to go over a cut 4 or 5 times. With these blades - twice at the most. And that's going through two heavy layers of leather. I will definitely by buying these again!

Techni Edge VS Xacto: My Experience
I've been a loyal fan of Xacto #11's for decades and they're wonderful blades. If you're reading this you probably know that Xactos are considerably more expensive than the Techni Edge blades and with that in mind I put off trying the latter for a few rounds of blade-purchasing. A while back i took the (inexpensive) plunge and bought a pack of 100 Techni Edge blades and the results have been excellent. Many have said the Techni's are less durable and break more - personally I have not found this to be true: they seem very comparable. My use for using these is standard thickness paper (which is quite thin) up to heavier card stocks and even watercolor paper (which is not only thick but textured) - the Techni's perform excellent on paper and there's no disadvantage to the Xacto brand that I can detect. Heavier papers do challenge the blades but again I'm not noticing a difference one way or the other between Technis and Xactos. Given the value in price and comparable performance I'll be buying Techni Edge blades again instead of Xactos.

good for the price
OK, I've been using these for about 4 or 5 years now...can't remember when I purchased them, not gonna take the time to look it up... but I can say for the price I paid at the time it was a great deal. they haven't rusted ( something I thought would happen over time) and they hold their edge ok, not good but not bad either. But for how many came in the box it's a good trade off.

I burn through blades faster than anyone you'll meet (thousands/year)
I own and operate a small (but busy) sign and graphics shop, and every single job that I work on requires me to have an xacto knife in my hands at all time, and the blade in that knife has to be in almost brand-new, 100% SHARP condition. The reason I can only use brand new blades is because the sign vinyl that I use is basically an extremely thin layer of colored "sticker" vinyl that has an adhesive layer on the back side (like tape), and it comes stuck to a backing/transport layer that's made out of paper or a slightly tougher poly/plastic. After the sheets of vinyl come off the graphics cutting machine, they're still stuck to its backing, and I have to then lay it down on a table and use the tip of an xacto knife to pierce into the top layer of vinyl, and "pluck" up a corner, them use my fingers to pull it off the backing to dispose of it, leaving only the graphic remaining on the backing sheet. It's called "weeding" (removing the unwanted pieces of vinyl that surround each one of the actual letters or graphics) So on a big job, I might be piercing the tip of that xacto blade into those thin sheets of vinyl 10' of thousands of times, only deep enough to go through the vinyl, but not so deep that it digs into the backing paper or through both and into the table beneath! And once it piece into the vinyl, I have to apply a sort of upward "plucking" motion, which is not natural, and not what the thin, sharp, tips of these blades were designed for! So if I accidentally pierce too deep, and end up plucking while the tip is even slightly embedded into the wooden table top, then "SNAP".. there goes the tiny little tip, broken off. And once the tip breaks off, the blade is essentially useless for weeding sign vinyl because it's way too blunt and it will no longer bite into the vinyl layer, so it has to be removed, tossed, and replace with a brand new blade! And I'll go through this dance over and over throughout the course of a single job, burning through dozens of blades, all like brand new still, except for a tiny portion of the very tip has snapped off (smaller than the tip of a needle) With this in mind, the quality and durability of the blades I buy are CRUCIAL! Long story short, NONE of the aftermarket blades I've purchased off Amazon are anywhere near durable enough for my use case, except for these TECHNI-EDGE brand! The other bands break within a couple of minutes, regardless of how delicate I am with them, whereas these Techni-Edge blades can last me an entire job without needing to replace them! They're the only #11 xacto blade replacement that Ive been using since 2015!

So Pleased
So pleased with these blades! I am an artist and I use an X-Acto knife for precise cuts. All the work I do is cut paper, so it is very important to have fresh, sharp blades all the time. On one piece I can go through 20 blades. Buying the blades at the store is ridiculously expensive -- you usually get 10 blades for about $8. 100 blades for this price is really, really good. The best deal I have found. The blades are high quality and very sharp, they fit all my X-Acto knife handles perfectly. Perfect fit. I had previously used X-Acto and Fiskers blades, both of which had a lot of breakage at the tips. None of the tips have broken off of these. I will keep buying these forever and ever. My only complaint is that they arrive pretty greasy. At first I didn't realize this and messed up some paper. Now I just give them a quick wipe and they're clean and the grease is gone.

Completely unusable, not sharp, burrs on tips
I got a 100-pack of these Techni Edge #11 blades in 2016 that I finally used up. The originals were excellent, so I ordered another package in 2024. The inside of the new package was covered with a metallic powdery gritty substance, aside from the normal oil. The blades themselves were too dull to cut through a single paper side of some cheap dollar store foamboard. I tried multiple blades from the package and they were all equally dull and about half had a notable burr on the tip as well. They were so dull they would crush the edge of the foamboard rather than cut through the outer paper layer. I've never seen such horrible hobby blades, even across several brands. I literally ran the blades against my finger with moderate pressure and they had no effect. These are complete junk and should not even be sold. Utterly useless garbage.

Great price and quality, very sharp and well worth the money
Expected delivery time they was there . Great buy and price $12 for 100 blades . Bargain , they cost about $6.00 for about 10 from walmart and craft shops . Compared to the ones Xacto and the ones my husband uses at work these are by far better. I cut through cardboard and 2 films of plastic to make my own airbrush stencils and they seem to last longer and do a far better straight cut without any little pieces sticking out. This is my second purchase of these blades and will keep on purchasing them as long as they are needed. And of course they are made in the USA

Excelentes repuestos.
