Yatoshi Damascus Pro Kitchen Knife 3 Set Ultra Sharp High Carbon VG10 Steel

This is an awesome set of knives. Just the sizes you need without the filler knives that come with a lot of other sets (you know the ones that you maybe use twice in 10 years and only because every other knife in the set is dirty).I’ve probably prepared 15 or so meals so far with these. Anything I threw at it - veggies, meat, small fruits - was no problem. Each of the knives came super sharp and also had a good weight to them.Will update this review later on after I’ve had more experience with them to see how the sharpness and quality hold up, but all signs point to this being a great basic set of knives, particularly for the price.

The edge does need a bit of conditioning now and then, but working with these in the kitchen is an absolute delight - if you expect a knife to go through your food effortlessly with an easy slicing motion. They are a bit dangerous -- I dropped one and the tip grazed my leg. Let's just say some "quick clot" was required on that one. Those three are all I ever need - I'm happy I didn't buy one of the sets with 300 knives for the same price.

I do a lot of cooking/bbqing/jerky making and thus always slicing meat and veggies. I have used a lot of knives and brands and fallen in love with some BUT after unpacking this and putting it to work, I know I won't be trying any others for a while. The design is perfect, fits well in your hand and its not super heavy like others. I give it an A for looks and an A+ for functionality. I've had a few of our guests try it out and they have been quite impressed as well. Would definitely recommend if you are on the fence.

I absolutely am in love with these knives. I used these at a friend’s home and was so impressed I had to get a set of my own. I used these for a week before leaving my review so I could ensure it was an accurate review. They cut through everything like butter and make my cooking experience so much more efficient because I’m not fighting with bad knives. I also purchased the stainless steal magnetic knife bar which I highly recommend for easy and clean storage! I can’t wait to buy everyone in my family these knives for Christmas this year!

A few months ago I was looking for a starting set to replace some older knives I had accumulated over the years since I’m spending so much more time in the kitchen preparing meals, and so far I’m very pleased with this find! Each knife has a sturdy and clean design, and they remain just as sharp as they were when I bought them.

I gifted this item to someone, she loved it since it was comfortable to hold and cut better then the ones she had but after two uses of the cheft knife it's sharpness fell. Making it as good as the 4 dollar knife she brought at Ross wich still hasn't been sharpen and cuts fine. I would have thought that because of its quality and price the sharpness would not deteriorate that fast and would last but i was wrong.

I recently bought these as a gift for my girlfriend who cooks pretty much every night. Not only do they look the part, but they are apparently the best knives I could’ve given her she said—they are now her go to knives. She says she love the weight, look and feel, and they are always sharp. If you are looking for a great gift for the chef in your house, look no further.

I absolutely love these knives! I've never bought more than a $60 set of knives before these and you can definitely tell the difference. If you like to cook (or honestly even if you don't) these knives will make your cooking and prep work so much quicker and easier!
