Until a few years ago I was limping along, using the lemon extract that I could buy at the supermarkets. I discovered that these extracts aren't all that strong. Since I use lemon extract frequently in my baking, a little bottle never lasted very long. Then I heard about LorAnn oils. I order several of them, including the lemon oil. And I quickly discovered that where in the past I had to use a whole teaspoon to get the desired results, I could do the same with just a few drops of LorAnn lemon oil. Plus, there was nothing artificial about the flavor. I quickly discovered that not only was LorAnn lemon oil superior, but it was cost effective as well, since a little goes a long way.
