Arguably the best game in the entire series. For a guy that played Dragon Warrior on the original NES, this game is the perfect balance of technology improvements as well as the charm and gameplay of the original games back in the 90s. The bonus content after beating the game is phenomenal and far more than just an afterthought. It contains some of the best moments. The special additions included in this special version are a significant improvement that make it a no-brainer addition to your collection.

I need to preface this by saying I'm generally not a fan of turn-based JRPGs. I don't think they're bad as genre, I'm just generally more interested in the story/world exploration and begrudgingly contend with the combat, with just a few exceptions. That being said, I currently have 23 hours in this game and have been enjoying my time so far. Combat isn't too complicated and the option to avoid combat encounters entirely is a feature i wish more games implemented rather than the constant random encounters. The story is best described as an episodic anime that you're in control of, like naruto or one piece. For $20, at the time of writing this, I definitely feel I've gotten my money's worth and I'm looking forward to seeing what the game brings next.

At this moment in time I'm almost 30 hours into this game. The first thing I noticed when I started this game was how bright all of the colors were within the game. Most of the games I play are usually pretty dark but this title does not have any issues with dark corners that make it hard to see certain details. The character design is pretty generic for the primary character. This can easily be forgiven since this game has create a character design approach towards the very beginning. Throughout the game you will encounter various companions who each have an interesting back story. The combat for this game is very simple but engaging. You only have to worry about controlling yourself while your companions will react to battles as the fights go on. Combat for the game is also pretty much optional. For most of the game you can choose to engage various monsters or simply run past them. The combat style is also turn based combat. So there's no rush on trying to figure out which action you should do next before a monster KO's one of your party members. The game also introduces a crafting system after a fair amount of time. This crafting system will use various recipes, which are acquired throughout the game, to construct new pieces of equipment. Overall I would say this game is recommended for anyone who appreciates a good quality JRPG.

Love this game, for better or worse. If you never played a DQ game before this one is a good entry. It is the most generic, traditional JRPG in existence and that is the point. No frills, no extra unnecessary fluff, just honest to goodness slap yo mama cheesy Hero JRPG wonder. Buy this game if that appeals to you. It for us old gamers and millennials who grew up playing these games on the Sega, SNES, etc. It will bring out your inner child once more and warm your heart. Manage your expectations and recognize the type of game it is and you will have a good time. The only bad thing I can say about it is that the music is generic and repetitive AF but you can tune it out. Honestly, by the time I finished the game, which took about 175 hours to do absolutely everything while taking my time, I actually still listen to the soundtrack outside of the game. The overture that I thought was so boring and fanfareific is actually somewhat awe inspiring. I made it my ringtone if you can believe it. Makes you smile even if you still hate it because of its generic saccharinity. The game is less than 20 bucks and you will get your money's worth so do not hesitate and add this gem to your collection today.

Ignore those that complain about the graphics as the difference is negligible. This version offers far more content than the previous game. Dragon Quest XI as a whole plays like those old JRPGs from the SNES, PlayStation and early PS2 eras. These games had secrets to discover like hidden treasure and such. These days RPGs give you everything very easily without requiring you to put effort save this one.

tiene todo el contenido dlc en el disco, tiene idioma español, en si muy divertido, tiene para cambiar las voces entre japonés e ingles, tiene para elegir entre banda sonora sinfónica o sintetizada, historia muy buena y personajes divertidos, se puede cambiar la velocidad de batallas, o que personajes deseas dar ordenes mientras que los otros siguen algún tipo de estrategia de combate, diseños de personajes hechos por el creador de dragón ball : akira toriyama, modo retro en 2d, que puede cambiar entre el modo 3d o 2d cuando lo desees, historias extras, romances entre personajes, aproximadamente como 5 o 6 outfits diferentes para cada personaje, en resumen un mundo grande de fantasía rpg, que fácilmente excede las 200 horas de juego, si eres amante de los rpg este un juego que no puede faltar en tu colección, esta edición completa vale la pena, hay un pequeño donwgrade grafico a diferencia del original que salió en ps4 en 2017, pero es mas lo que se gana que lo que se pierde, para finalizar la portada es muy hermosa y cuenta con portada reversible, la portada de adentro es un arte retro como la portada de la versión de 3ds

It's a fun game, great graphics, the ability to switch between old school 2d graphics and the 3d graphics is awesome, and there is a section of the game that can only be accessed through the 2d mode. This game connects to the original NES drawing quest trilogy, 1-3.

DQ11が大好きで、英語は全く分かりませんが海外版もやってみたくなり購入しました。 日本版との違いを楽しんでいます。

Not the most exciting game but good enough to enjoy and relax. Also well balanced game play for people who just like to chill.

Literalmente uno de los mejores dragon quest, hermosas gráficas, bella e impresionante banda sonora, seguramente pasará a ser uno de los grandes clásicos en la ya larga lista. Imperdonable dejar pasa una de estas grandes obras. Único pero es que ordene versión americana y me llego europea, lo conservó porque funciona igual e incluye todo el contenido, además que ya es un poco difícil de conseguir.

El juego llego en perfectas condiciones aunque llego suelto de su caja, este ya lo tenia en la versión de switch, pero verlo en 4k a 60fps en una ps4 pro es un deleite, se sabe que esta versión es un port de nintendo y no una directa de la versión pasada de ps4, pero la verdad es más lo que se gana que lo que se pierde
