Will this ethernet crimping tool kit work for cat7 and cat8 cables?

I believe it does. To be certain, compare the number of pins in a cat5 connector.

Everytime i use the crimping tool it wont fully crimp wire number one. Do i need to return this and get a new one or am i doing somthing wrong?

Try adjusting the tool. If that doesn't work ask for a replacement and if you are still having issues. Ask for a refund, Mine works perfectly.

When using the tester if one side tests good and other doesn’t which side is bad?

It doesn’t tell you which side is back, just what pin on straight patch cables are bad
