This is perfect for my window, it is a strong little window lock and I have no fear of my indoor cat getting out through the gap. Easy to install no nails or screws. Will buy again for other windows

I found this product when looking for a solution to a problem we had with the side opening bathroom window continually blowing wide open as the side of the house seems to create some kind of wind tunnel that made the window virtually unusable. I tried this one as it did not require drilling and didn't need to be messed with every time we open the window. It is ridiculously easy to fit, follow the instructions exactly and you'll find it probably takes you longer to read the 4-5 step instruction diagrams than it does to fit them. It helpfully also comes with spare adhesive strips if you make a mistake or need to remove or reposition it in the future. Once fitted you open the window as normal and it automatically locks in place, stopping it blowing open or closed and also effectively stopping any cats (or kids!) escaping out of the window. To close you need to disengage the lock as you pull the window closed so closing it becomes a two-handed job (it is a smooth process as long as you aligned it correctly per the instructions when fitting). It is also easy to unclip the lock if you ever need to fully open the window. Despite the price of these they are a great design and do exactly what they promised. You still get a good amount of airflow and your windows are secure from being caught in the wind. I was so impressed with my purchased I bought 4 more to lock all the front windows in the house as we have cats that are only allowed out in the back garden. It is great to have all the windows open in the summer without having to worry about escapees, one of our cats now likes to sit with her paws out of the upstairs window and watch the world go by... Whether it is to keep animals in, protect children, or just to stop the wind catching your windows this product has you covered...

Easy to install if you follow the instructions. It comes in 2 parts which have to be 'clicked' together. No tools needed and not too unsightly. It has a locking mechanism that is easy to open should the need arise. It also has screw holes incase you want to secure it that way. Otherwise, it's fitted with 'very' 'tape that's seems strong enough for me. I got this for 2 reasons. 1. To stop my window blowing when open as its in a wind trap 2. To stop my grandchildren from climbing up and fully opening the window. I only gave 4 stars as I've just installed it and need to know if the sticky will last. If not, I'll screw it to the frame. I would recommend this product

Really pleased with this item, to stop the cat going out of an upstairs window. Easy to install and working perfectly. The cat is happy because the window can be open and he sits and looks out without any danger.

I got this for a window that doesn’t have a safety latch , the wind blows it open all the way! I installed this very easy ( had to turn upside down) as I got the one for a right side window not left but still works perfectly and is well made and strong I do recommend:)

This is my third one of these and will be getting more. Have an indoor cat and he is able to push windows open to get out so we had to keep them shut, not good for no ventilation and air circulation so it was frustrating. This is a perfect solution, they fix to the window frame and glass and allow them to be opened enough for fresh air but cat cannot get through the gap. They detach easily with push-click mechanism if you need to open window fully for any reason. Make sure you line up properly using a spirit level and get the placement right because once attached it's not possible to remove the sticker without ruining it. You'll need to then scrape it off (avoid metal on the uPVC or glass, plastic best) and sticky residue remover for rest. Replacement 3m pads are available online then cut to size. I found this out the hard way. Once fitted leave 72hrs before opening window for maximum adhesion and make sure surfaces are clean and dry before applying. I used first aid alcohol wipes and then kitchen roll to dry off. A tiny bit of wd40 to the slider can help it where needed but not always necessary. Will be getting a few more.

Initially I would have said 5 stars but it detached from the door with a strong gust of wind after a few months and that makes me a bit less comfortable with relying on it fur safety

It works well. Sturdy and safety for kids. Currently I use adhesion way but seems strong.

Hyper simple d'installation, l'adhésif est très puissant et colle instantanément, donc bien prendre son temps. Mes fenêtres s'ouvrent de l'intérieur, mais cela ne pose pas de problème, il suffit d'inverser par rapport au schéma. Un très bon produit qui évite de faire des trous quand on veut sécuriser ses fenêtres.

Es funktioniert auch bei unserem VELUX Dachflächenfenster. Die schraubenlose Montage war uns wichtig da wir zur Miete wohnen. Der Kleber hält so feste dass er vom Kind nicht zu lösen ist. Von Erwachsenen Hand ohne Rückstände per Hebelwirkung lösbar. Auch in Grau diskret und nicht auffällig. Behindert nicht die Verdunklung mit dem Rollo. Ermöglicht für uns Risiko loses Lüften im Kinderzimmer trotz darunter stehendem Hochbett. Der Kauf war die richtige Entscheidung.

Je cherchais un blocage efficace pour mon chat, pour qu’il ne se faufile pas sur la barre d’appui du 5 Ème étage. L’adhérence est parfaite et semble assez costaud, l’ensemble est facile à monter, et merci aux personnes qui ont compris que ce blocage servait aussi bien pour les fenêtres s’ouvrant de l’extérieur que de l’intérieur ( pour le faire ouvrir de l’intérieur il suffit de le mettre à l’envers l’inscription BeeGoo à l’envers ( voir mes photos).
