EverDrive GBA Mini

A great add for my collection, i can use my gameboys to play some copies of my games.

I recently found my old Gameboy Advance SP and wanted to have a trip down memory lane... unfortunately, I had lost almost all of the games from my childhood. After countless hours of roaming through eBay and trying to find classic games, I quickly realized how expensive it was going to be. A friend recommended the EverDrive Mini X5 and I couldn't be happier! Not only am I reliving my childhood memories, but all of these great games are stored in one place, along with their save files! I have never used ROMs or Emulator software, but this device was super easy to set up and get going. I'd say less than 20 minutes for a newbie like me and even faster for experienced users. It does not come with any instructions, but there are plenty Youtube Videos that guide you step-by-step.

Took me less than five minutes to get this up and running on my GBA SP, and it works great. I’m very impressed by the build quality. Looks like it’d be very easy to take apart and swap the battery out if necessary.

Bought to pair with my analogue pocket to help with the fact some cores don't have working RTC modules. This allows me to pack even more games into the system and it works flawlessly. Glad I bought this over the Omega.

Let's you play GB, GBA, NES, Game Gear, and Master System on GBA hardware. It's easy to use and it feels nice to break out my old Gameboy.

I bought from Amazon instead of the official store because the official website ships from Ukraine, and would take 30-45 days. Instead, this costs about $15 more, and it shipped from US. It appears to be an official Everdrive X5 Mini from the original Everdrive Maker, Krikzz, so I feel confident most of my dollars went to him (deservedly so).The build quality is great. The micro SD card slot has that handy spring-loaded push-lock mechanism to keep the card flush and locked into the cartridge. I've had it for a few days so far and am pleased with the purchase. Definitely worth the upcharge to avoid that crazy long shipping time. Thanks for this awesome convenience!

This cart is basically plug and play provided you have a microsd card thats 64gb formatted to fat32 and loaded with your _legally acquired romsSave states for Gameboy advance & Gameboy color games happen naturally, no need to fiddle with the menu while Original Gameboy games may or may not save. Tetris for example likes using the save state feature rather then saving to the cart itself. Other then that quirk, games load up quick and often true to their color scheme. The only thing I would ask to be changed is allowing a diffrent game/rom be picked from the cart menu. Then again nothing beats turning the Gameboy Advance off to hear the loading noise.

This thing is awesome!a must have if you want to play games on the go, rom hacks, definitely the best purchase of the year for me
