SkechersSport Men's Vigor 2.0 Trait Memory Foam Sneaker

My husband is a Police Officer in the Bike Unit and these are the only sneakers he will buy for work. Every year we replace them with a new pair of the same sneakers. They hold up well to chasing criminals down. LOL He loves the way the memory foam feels. These sneakers are the most comfortable sneakers he has ever owned. Never any rubbing or blisters and they hold up well. He also wears these on his days off too. They are true to size and fit perfect each time. I love these sneakers, this is my 5th pair. They are extremely comfortable and I have a wide 3E foot and can only wear basically New Balance or Sketchers. I choose Sketchers all the time now over New Balance for two main reasons Comfort and Price; Sketchers are more comfortable with the soft memory foam inserts and are less than a 3rd of the price of what I used to buy the top of the line New Balance sneakers for. Sketchers to me are more comfortable than the most expensive top of the line New Balance. Now having said that I want to be fair; I am on my feet for work standing and walking approximately 13000 steps a day for 8 hrs and they are great, but I'm not actually running so as shoes for running your going to have to find that for yourself. My advice is try them and see for yourself I highly recommend these sneakers.

I was pleasantly surprised when I went to review these shoes. I did not realize it had been over a year since I purchased them. All in all, they are a good shoe. The soles on mine are pretty much worn out after a year but I am very hard on shoes. Also, I walk a lot after I get home from work and most days I walk at least a mile or more on sidewalks, paved and unpaved trails. For the price of these shoes, these are very good. I am buying another pair!!

Previously wore same shoe in size 11 which was fine for the first few weeks but as the shoe stretched the size became a bit loose and I had to keep tying it tighter. This time I went with 10.5; while they are snug out of the box I expect them to stretch and fit perfectly within a week or two of use. The memory foam is nice but enjoy it while it lasts, if you are on your feet all day it will lose its rebound within several months. This shoe does stand up to a fair amount of abuse. I'd recommend using for long days in retail environments, walking on hard concrete for 8 hours a day.

Wasnt sure quite what size to order. Wear 13 in Nike. 11.5 is absolutely perfect. The memory foam insole is very soft. The shoes are lightweight without feeling cheap. They look good and have a substantial sole with good lugs. Come with a spare set of laces! Wide width is perfect for my foot. Ready to put them through the paces tomorrow at work. On my feet 8 hours everyday.Update- these shoes last about 5 months before showing signs of wear. Bought two pairs back to back. The memory foam does break down after a few months. The soles came unglued. Excessive foot pain. Remind you that I am 6'1 350, and I put these shoes through extreme duty on concrete in a machine shop. They are ok for the money. But you have to replace them when the memory foam breaks down or you will have wicked foot problems. I later opted for a conventional leather shoe with a conventional insole. More structure and support for a longer period of time.

Outside, walking, they're okay, but a little warm. During a gym workout, they were downright balmy. Wicking, wool-blend socks help keep from getting slippy-sweaty, but once done, I was ready to take them off.Updated 2020-11-27:I use wool socks almost exclusively now, and don't notice a thermal or moisture problem. I keep coming back to these shoes. The heel stays put, and the toebox is wide enough for me. I get 2 years out of a pair, which is used for daily wear, plus about 100 miles of walking. I think this translates into about 250 miles of total wear. I vary from 275 to 315 pounds, so I would expect a lighter person to get more wear out of them. I have tried New Balance and Asics, only to find their heel bites in so low that it just slips up and down constantly. I'm pretty much resolved to Sketchers' these days, but I still try a few others for if/when Sketchers makes a big change.

The seller was Amazon. I paid 35 bucks.I hate shopping for shoes. A few years ago, I found these Skechers in a local store, and they fit well, and the price was right. Then I went online and purchased another pair, since shoe models change over time, and I didn't want to be bothered with "shopping" for a different shoe in the future.My first pair were 11 normal width. My feet are wide, but the shoe still fit me fine, and felt good. I do a lot of hiking on dirt and rocky trails during the Spring and Summer. These shoes lasted me 2 years before each shoe split on the outer edge at the widest part of my foot where the shoe fabric meets the sole. The rest of the shoe held-up fine.Given the use and time, I suppose 2 years is okay. I suspect that if a wide model was available when I purchased my original pair, then the side splitting that I mentioned above may not have happened so soon. I suppose if I wanted something that lasted longer, then I might need to spend 3x as much...just not sure that such a shoe would really last 3x as long.When I ordered the shoe, it shows size 11 3E on Amazon. On the Amazon receipt, it shows 11 XW. And on the shoe label it says 11 EW. Apparently, they all mean extra wide. The extra wide does feel better than the 11 normals that I had previously. The 11 3E is less snug on the sides (nice). If they loosen over time, then I can always tighten the lace.I hope that buying a wide shoe for my wide foot will lessen or slow the splitting of the shoe where I mentioned above. Shoes very comfortable for 12 hour shifts.Excellent quality as always.Although delivery was pretty quick from Canada, FedEx lied about delivery. They dumped the package outside my neighbours house. Did not speak to anyone. Then seller refused to believe me. It was only by luck my neighbour brought package to me the day after.The box inside package was completely crushed. Thankfully the shoes were fine. Two wrongs don't make a right

My husband damages his Achilles’ tendon in Feb.he hasn’t been able to wear his ordinary footwear during recovery, the Skechers has been wonderful, he’s now able to walk again and happy. Thank you.

Sketchers are my go to over the years quality and most important comfortable and I'm pleased to say that's still the case. However this pair are slightly smaller so I am hoping with wear they'll stretch never been an issue previously

Great pair of trainers....great if you suffer from sore feet..tho with the padded insole make trainer a bit tighter..so you might wanna go up half a size
