This digital thermometer is easy to use and works exactly how it’s supposed to. It’s also a good price, which makes it a great value. Everyone should have one of these at home, and this one gets the job done well.

Works very well. Accurate

10 seconds feels like an eternity after being used to 1 second(I don't like - find they read inconsistently) and 3 second(my preferred) digital thermometers. Seems to be easy to use, consistent in it's results and was inexpensive. One curious thing I discovered is my older father, who has some high frequency hearing loss but still hears well enough that he doesn't need hearing aids to understand or function, cannot hear any of the beeps this thermometer makes. It has a single beep when turning on, and off both. Plus a Measurement Done multi-tone chime when it's finished giving a reading. It's more beeping than seems necessary, but at least it's a a moderate volume. Probably still loud enough to potentially wake someone else sleeping in the same room. For reference in a quiet house I can hear it down a 15' hallway from another room. But in the same room, the beeps are mostly hidden by a reasonable listening volume TV. It does beeping slightly less, and at a lesser volume than the Vicks thermometer I tend to use - which beeps every time you press any button.

Easy to use and quick to take a temperature, this thermometer takes the guesswork out of the process. Recommended.

I purchased this thermometer to keep on hand as a backup, since we have children at home. Last night, I felt that my child’s temperature was elevated, so I used the thermometer to check it. Although I could clearly tell by touch that the temperature was high, the device returned a "normal" reading. I tried several times, and the results were consistently the same; consequently, I assumed my child didn't have a fever. However, this morning I still felt that my child’s temperature was high—and their overall condition was quite poor. I checked their temperature twice more, yet the readings remained normal. Finally, I decided to try using an air-conditioning thermometer (the kind I use for work) to check my child's temperature; it showed a reading of 103°F. I immediately took my child to see a doctor. The margin of error on this thermometer exceeds 5°F—a safety hazard for any household with children. I strongly urge everyone not to buy this product.

This electronic thermometer is great; it measures the same temperature every time, and it's inexpensive.

This thing stinks. Took five different temperatures got wildly different results. Fluctuated from 98.9 to 100.1 in the span of about a minute.
