As a swimmer, I am always on the lookout for a good bathing cap. Some just don't fit right and let the water in. Why wear it in the first place? Some are made of flimsy material that tears easily when pulling on the cap. I was overjoyed with the Beemo Latex Swim Cap the minute I put it on. It's big enough to surround my head. It doesn't allow water to penetrate.And it looks as good as one can look in a bathing cap. I now have two such caps in different colors. I highly recommend this product. Ruth Dunner

It may look like something we used to wear in the 60's, but it sure is darn CUTE! I have several different types of swim caps. If the most important need is for dry hair, this is the one to get. I color my hair often and don't want pool chemicals to affect it. This cap is not for competition swimmers as it has resistance in the water; that's why those "speedo" type / olympic slick caps were designed. I may get wet hair at the very edges but the majority of my scalp stays dry. Remember that your head sweats, but that's natural!

I bought this swim cap to keep the bulk of my hair out of the chlorinated water. I found that I could do laps and some basic underwater swimming with this on and most of my hair stayed dry. Some at the edges got wet, which makes sense, given how loose it is. On the plus side, it wasn't painfully tight and it was awful cute.

Was larger than expected. Tried it anyway and my hair was as wet as if I didn’t have a cap on. Very disappointing. Only thing it did was kept my hair out of my face. While doing backstroke felt cap filling with water. Don’t waste your money.

I had high hopes for this cap as I do water aerobics 5 days a week. The cap is too big for my head, si it would not keep water out if I submerge my head. Also, I ordered hot pink by he photo and it is almost neon coral. Color is WAY different than website. Would be ok to keep water off your hair, but not water tight. Very cute. Sad I cannot wear it.

I swim 3 times per week for an hour so I use leave in conditioner. I've had trouble with the non latex swimming caps sliding off before my hour is up. I decided to try these old fashioned swim caps and they work perfectly for me. The cap is very easy to put on unlike the cheap latex caps. I don't use the straps at all. The cap stays on for my full hour. Someone with a smaller head may need the straps. This cap solves my swim cap difficulties using leave in conditioner. I don't know how long the cap will last as I've only used it a week but I ordered a 2nd cap since I'm thrilled with this purchase.

I recently joined a community pool and have gone swimming at most a dozen times for an hour at a time. I am definitely not going to win any swim races so that should give you an idea of my rudimentary swimming ability. I bought this about 2 months ago and last week the elastic edge ripped. I tried to contact the seller because it really should not have ripped after 12 hours of swimming over a 6 week period. I received no response from the seller so I'm writing this review. I do like the cap. It's pretty and it's comfortable but it ripped. Water does get under it but I don't really care because I wanted it so it covers my ear so a lot of water doesn't get into my ears. I am now going to try to find a similar cap made by another company, if there are others that make these old fashioned type caps. I thought the seller would at least acknowledge the problem even if it was just to say it's outside of the return window but nope I heard nothing. The poor customer service annoys me even more than the ripped cap annoys me.
