Spilay DIY Miniature House Kit for Adults, Miniature Dollhouse Kit

I’ve done a few of these houses and so far the quality of the pieces in this one is awesome. There are so many intricate laser cut parts that make the the minis look so much realistic. Directions aren’t amazing but they are easy enough to understand, and on par with this type of mini house kit. There is always a little bit lost in translation. It doesn’t come with glue or other tools, which is fine because I prefer to use my own anyway! Aleene’s fast grab tacky glue is my favorite for these kinds of products. A sharp Xacto knife, sharp scissors, ruler and toothpicks (to apply glue) are really all you need. I saw this on Instagram and asked for the link, I’m glad I did! I wouldn’t have ordered it otherwise because there arent a lot of reviews. I will update when the house is farther along.

I’ve been building miniature things for a while this one by far took so long. No glue, materials that are provided are cheap. When I mean cheap I mean like I couldn’t even pop it out AFTER I use an X-Acto knife to reduce the damage but it didn’t matter it will still break especially if I had to stick 2 parts with each other and I would need to be a little more strength and it would just crumble in my hands. The wires for the lights it’s between white and a very very light grey almost white so it was confusing at first having to rewire EVERYTHING after I already glued everything down. For the price I’d rather go to my local ximi and spend the extra 10-20 dollars for something more sturdier. That being said I did build the entire thing and it’s cute, once I got the lights to work and the music box I guess it was worth the time but again the materials alone needs better quality. Fun to build was alright I guess it lasted me a week to finish the entire thing I used E6000 and wood glue to keep things together as well as a glue stick for the paper parts. Again it’s not bad just wish it was sturdier just cause it was frustrating me a bit.

Absolutely in love with this product. All the details are clear and precise. Directions are straightforward and easy to follow. Will definitely buy another product from this brand/company. Highly recommend

Instruction book missing pages 2-9 and 26-33. All the other pages were duplicated. Part of missing instructions was how to assemble the train. The only way to get all the instructions is to order a new kit, yep can’t get ahold of anyone.

This is the worst book nook I have ever purchased. As soon as I open the box I should have known better not to start this kit. You have to glue paper on the boards. Glue which is not included has to be used on everything because the pieces are loose and don't stay unless glued. Frustrated at every step. If they would have shown what was in the box I would have not purchased this book nook. I have built over 20 book nooks and by far this is the worst. To late for me to return since I tried my best to no avail to complete. I will scavenger the lights and use them somewhere else and scrap the rest. Not worth the frustration to even go farther. 10 hours of my time to get no where only to get Glue all over. Buyers beware stay away from this one.

I did not actually build this. But I have built quite a few now and the quality for this one definitely seemed questionable. Did not include the dust cover like advertised and the music box was missing but there was a piece indicating that it is typically included. Warning! Other kits have very easy light system - easy to use connectors and the use of 2 batteries. This kit you will have to strip the wires and properly connect the wires to the box - much more advanced if you have never done this and may need supervision for younger builders.

I brought this for wife she said it was Very fun and cool to build luv,s it and said she could live in it. Her friends luv it also.

Nachdem ich mich langere zeit nicht überwinten konnte weiter zu machen,habe ich es heute entsorgt.man ist nur am kleben.dazu winzige teile.hat irgendwie keinen spaß gemacht.
