Simple but effective
The lighter weight of this guard is exactly what the doctor ordered. It was an easy fix to perotect the derailleur on my Freesky Rocky e bike. I attached the guard with an existing screw (attaching the fender to the bike). A larger guard would not have worked without significant modification.

Fit
Used on Grandson's bike as he didn't have a bracket and his caliber got bent.

Sturdy but.......
It will not mount on my e-bikes axel bolt, due to sensor around bolt and a cable entering the middle of the axel bolt.

Got this for my folding ebike
The hole for the axle needed to be drilled out further, but I just brought it to my local bike shop and the mechanic drilled it out with a step drill and installed it for me. A little bit costy - about $30 in labor, but definitely worth it before I hauled it on a bus and a train.

Installed on Montague Paratrooper with Magic Pie 5 & Grin Tech Torque Arm v.4
Great product. Supports the full weight of my Montague Paratrooper Pro with a Magic Pie 5 rear motor hub, folded and stored on its side during transportation. I was able to install my Grin Tech Torque Arm v.4 around it as well. It's taken several rides without any signs of fatigue or breaking, and I feel much better knowing that my derailleur isn't getting smashed up anymore while riding to/from biking trails. Not sure why this isn't a standard feature on all bikes.
