These are fun! It’s too bad I can’t wear contacts anymore because I can’t wear my glasses with these and I’m blind as a bat! But they look cool, and would be a great addition to some kind of steampunk or mad scientist cosplay. They’re pretty decent quality, and won’t fall apart on you. They’re hard plastic, I believe, and you can unscrew the lenses if you want. They have about the same level of shade as a pair of dark sunglasses, but they are goggles so you do lose a little peripheral vision. They’re really cool though, and are just fun to have in your costume accessories if you need them.

We bought these just to try them out and they're cute! They would be especially great for a child or adult who is dressing up as a steampunk. You're able to still see things and they are comfortable to wear.

I did paint them! i later looked and thought about getting the black ones.. but i like them a lot they did come with protection for the lens idk if i mishandled them but they did scratch a bit easily but I was planning on painting the lens to begin with while reading the other reviews just forgot to before taking them to con! I was Rainbow dash.. not really sure how the visibility is just from the outside, You can see through in though, the lens does have a tint, but I was planning on painting more of them.But there's different lenses in there.So you can take some of them out. I love the appearance after I painted it.I loved it before, but I needed it for this costume, material seems good, it's a nice plastic for the goggles.And then it has fabric for the strap, and it's very adjustable versatile

Hey, these are great! I bought them for actual use - while I mix Cement, Grout, etc, for tiling my bathroom.I have normal safety goggles, with the clear jelly-like perforated sides, but they occupy half my face, and get all steamy inside, despite the perforations. I hate wearing them, as all I want is my eyes protected.These aren't "Safety Glasses", but they are fine for keeping the dust out, & they don't get all steamy inside, cuz they're not catching all the heat coming off my whole face.* Visibility: I was concerned they would be hard to see through, because many reviews said they were, but they neglected to unscrew the lens cap, which has TWO lenses in each one. One is completely clear, & the other is tinted - like sunglasses. No wonder they can't see, if they're wearing sunglasses at night on Halloween. I just removed the tinted lenses, and suddenly, I can see everything.* Lenses: They are cheap plastic lenses, but if you don't scratch them up, they should be fine. Light plastic is better for long term wear, anyway, as glass gets too heavy. That's why real glasses are all plastic, too. The entire goggle is plastic, which is good for long term wearing. Not gonna dig into your nose as much.* Fit: These fit me perfectly, but I have a pretty straight sided nose. They've angled the spot where contact with nose is, but if you have a more shapely nose, it may or may not fit as well. The elastic fits over my giant head very well, and it's adjustable for those who need more or less room.I'm only using them for mixing cement, so about 20 min at a time, but that's enough to fog up my safety goggles, and these didn't fog up in that same time. Yay! They fit me well, the elastic is strong, the plastic is smooth, and doesn't scratch up my face, or leave huge dents in my forehead or across my cheeks.I love them for actual eye protection, assuming you're only concerned about dirt getting in your eyes, and not giant chunks of debris hitting you in the face. I think they'd be great as sunglasses in an open air Jeep, too. Maybe I'll get some for my grandkids, just for riding with their Dad in his Jeep with the top off. Pretty funny, and no dirt in their eyes. : )

The goggles look aesthetically pleasing, but not very good visibility and they’re kinda uncomfortable when worn for long time.
