DR-DC160 Motor Cat Fountain Pump Replacement, Pet Drinking Fountain and Cat Water Dispenser Replacement (Blue)

The pump on our cats water bowl broke, so we ordered this one and it works perfectly. The blue LED even makes it light up, it's cooler than it was when we bought it. It's super quiet. Alastor loves it.

prematurely broke and had to get another one. There's a slot where it needs to be removed and cleaned out as well. Being a cat water fountain, hair, etc can build up quickly so be diligent and clean at least 1 x a week along w/ your filters!

I had this pump with a fountain I bought over a year ago a ALMOST 2 years ago now. It work all the way up until a few weeks ago and it started to just not be as strong anymore and on occasions wouldn’t start up. BUT!! It happens eventually but it’s great for the price 10/10 recommend.

The pump on my pet fountain started to malfunction, so rather than buying a new one for the smallest part, we were excited to find this replacement pump. Perfect fit. It may even be the same manufacturer for the pump. Parts were interchangeable. So far so good.

Extremely easy to replace the pump! Much better / cheaper alternative than having to replace the entire water fountain pet feeder. It took me no more than 1 to 2 minutes to replace. No tools needed. The pump is held down inside the water fountain feeder by its small suction cup feet. So, just pull to remove the pump from the bottom of the feeder. It's the exact replacement for the pump inside the round water fountain feeder that we had purchased from Amazon a couple of years ago for our cat. The original pump that came with feeder had burned out because I had allowed the water level in the feeder to go too low too many times. So it was my fault, not the quality of the pump.

The one thing this pump lacks is an armored cable wrap. The replacement was due to a new puppy.... I have some of this wrap for a 3d Printer build so I'll use it.

I’ve had my cats water fountain for over two years and this last year the pump went out. So I ordered this one with it being almost exactly the same as the first pump that came with the fountain. I ordered this pump in March and by July it nearly caught on fire. Yesterday I came home to my apartment smelling like smoke. As someone who has experienced a house fire I immediately unplugged the foundation and threw the whole thing away! The outlet where the fountain was plugged was black and the plug was black! Do not purchase. I got really lucky!

Less then 2 months and already stopped several times. Take the end off and turn the wheel a little and been able to get it to restart. Now the light comes on and there's a humming noise but the pump is not working anymore. This happened with my last pump as well. Disappointing that you have to buy a new pump every couple months.
