Good price. Very sharp. Easy to use. You can buy new saw blades if this one needs it. We already have poles and don't need more stuff to store, so this was a good fit for us.

The item seems very well made, robust, solid. Only problem is due to my laziness. I have a cutter that broke, and I’m in Europe so when folk mentioned the mounting hole not being right for poles in the US, instead of actually measuring my pole with calipers, I assumed “well then it’s metric and I’m sure my pole is the normal metric size”. You see where this is going… yup. The mount hole is ever so slightly smaller than the pole. The pole is metal and thin walled, so I am going to lightly sand it, and then try and use a dremel to slightly enlarge the mounting hole. This kind of thing OUGHT to be standardized but oh well, still was my fault for assuming, not the manufacturer as they do mention the size and it is correct when I measured. They ought to include it in the “product specifications” area, instead of a separate area here maybe, but they did mention it so it’s on me.

Wish the connector was threaded.

Pruning white pine branches, the rivet that holds the pruning arm in place broke rendering the pruner useless.

Love the price. It does the job. Takes some straining and maneuvering to pull the cord. But 4 stars is mainly because its not threaded to firmly secure to a threaded pole. I made do with rubber washers to help it stay in place on one of my poles. Kinda lop sided but the job does not require any action that separates the tool from the pole "so far"
