Haden 3000W Highclere Cordless Kettle, 1.5 Litre Capacity, Cream

This kettle is stunning to look at. It’s much larger than I expected but it still boils very quickly and without the metal popping noise I’ve had on other kettles when the metal expands. I’ve moved away from glass too as you can see all of the limescale (as we have chalky water where I live). I wanted something vintage looking and this hits the mark perfectly whilst still doing its job well, like pouring the water without spill back. It came with a spare spout filter which is appreciated when you live in a hard water area. All in all it’s the best kettle I’ve had for a decent and not excessive price like a lot of the other vintage looking kettles which range from £80-100 easily. The best £33 I’ve spent for a long time.

Lovely colour, looks very stylish, lightweight, boils quickly, quiet, costs 2p - 3p to boil 3 cups. Easy to fill, pours very well. Negatives - the chrome colour is plastic not metal (it probably says this on the ad but I presumed it would be metal, not noticeable at a distance though) Annoyingly, the minimum amount of water is 3 cups! Such a waste to have to boil 3 cups each time I want 1 cup of coffee. It did mention the extra water on a different review but I didn't realise it was quite a lot more to boil each time. Bit of a waste of energy boiling more than needed.

DO NOT BUY! Bought one of these a couple years back and lasted a while, but replaced it for a new one since the paint had started to peel off. The replacement was tragic, the first replacement I got had a sharp bit of metal coming out of the spout. Contacted customer service and they sent me a new one, the one in the pictures. This new one has been used a total of 6 times, has been in my possession for barely a month and a half, and it already started leaking from the base of the spout. To add to the joke they won't even refund me because the return window has closed. £50 down the drain. Do not buy! this used to be a good brand, I guess not anymore

I love this kettle! The traditional/retro style and colour look great in my kitchen! It boils very quickly, and although it's a bit noisy at the start It quietens down. The longer spout is brilliant and doesn't spurt or dribble when pouring, as my last jug-type kettle did. It was a bit more expensive than I usually like to pay, but is definitely worth the money. As it's not plastic, there was no smell or 'plasticky' taste even from the first test/cleaning boil. Very happy with my purchase.

Been a great kettle for almost 2 years but it is leaking now from the joint under the spout. I will buy another as I love the colour and style.

This kettle is absolutely great it’s just that bit more stylish than most kettles and much quieter than I have had before.. I got in touch with the Haden Company myself due to a small problem with the switch turning off just before it boiled they responded to me straight away and they have sorted my problem within a couple of days .The new replacement kettle was on its way to me within two days.Fantastic customer service very helpful .i would recommend this kettle which comes in several shades of colour

Love it....but a big problem was that it didn't have an Australian plug...it was UK. I would expect when you ship to Australia, you'd include the appropriate plug.

Great looking stylish retro metal kettle, ( cream colour) works great, top filling by removing lid is slightly fiddly to get under my tap but not a big issue. Slightly loud boil. Overall a great looking kettle & I got the matching toaster which is v good. Both are metal not plastic which is a big plus. Four stars due to the price
