Really pleased with this. Very retro and gives my kitchen a classy lift!!!
Lovely toaster - perfect toast and can use the control to regulate.. easy to clean - a detachable tray would be nice but not important. It does what it needs to do very well and very stylish. Bought the same brand for my kettle too which I am also very happy with.

The slots simply are not long enough
This toaster does look nice and works pretty well. Unfortunately the slots really aren’t long enough. You can just fit a slice of Kingsmill in, but anything slightly bigger needs to be squashed before it fits. It just seems, well, odd that the designers of the thing wouldn’t have tried it out with lots of different possibilities. I mean, how hard can it be to nip out to Lidl and get half a dozen loaves and check it works nicely with all of them? But no, the slots are just slightly too short. Disappointing enough to think that I might buy something different before this one wears out. Which it shows no signs of doing after a year of use. I suppose that’s a plus.
