Does the oil smell the same as the balm?

I didnt notic any smell in the oil.. but it gives an easy comb when the beard's soften (especially arfter give your beard a good wash)

Does it dry out or leaves your beard oily for long time?

It depends on how full / big your beard is and how much beard oil you use. i use 6-8 drops from the pipette. This suits my beard. Use too much and you beard will be too oily; use too little and your beard will dry out. Experiment, see what suits you. If you overdo it, use a mansize tissue to wipe off the excess. i should point out that this is not my regular beard oil. I'm a big fan of Fine Fettle products, however the Gillette beard oil is good value for money. Hope this helps

Does this help for beard growth?

No, the King C. Gillette Beard oil moisturizes dry skin underneath the beard, and conditions the hair to make it feel soft and smooth. Your Gillette Team

In which order should I use the oil and balm?

The King C. Gillette beard balm and beard oil both perform the task of softening and refreshing the beard. However with two different results: the oil makes the beard look bright and gives it a wet-look, while the balm allows you to model the beard. Since the two are not aggressive towards the skin, they can be used one after the other if needed, in no specific order. Your Gillette Team
