This does NOT fit the 2020 MacBook Air!! While the top does snap on and looks beautiful, you cannot get all four corners of the bottom to snap at the same time, which is very annoying. I looked at some other brands (was going to purchase another and just put the bottom on, since I like this top so much), and I found that many other brands are having the same problem. Even though they claim to fit the 2020 and earlier model MacBook Airs, I guess there is a slight change in the new ones, that developer haven't been able to compensate for yet. So, I am going to wait until a new model is released before attempting another case (ill just live with an unsung bottom).That being said, I DO love the top. I have the space gray MacBook, so here is a picture of what it looks like with the case on. Also, the "apple" logo is a hole/not protected, so there is a slight risk of it getting scratched. I didn't know this when I purchased, but I still like it.

This is a very cheap printed product. The colors look nothing like the pictures shown. im disappointed. And the keyboard cover smells like dye.. ALOT! Very cheap made dont waste your money!!

It looks exactly like the picture. It comes with two keyboard styles; on for the older MacBook Air and one for the 2020 MacBook Air. I don’t know how durable it is because I haven’t tried it on my MacBook but it’s really cute!

I just received this today so I can’t say much about it’s durability however it does feel like good material. It’s nice how it comes with two keyboard covers in case you lose one you can use the second one they give you. It also fits perfectly onto my MacBook Air and feels super smooth. The reason why I gave this a 4 star and not a 5 is because I thought that the gold color would shine more like how it did in the picture but then is wasn’t really a gold color, it was more cream and didn’t shine.

I have the MacBook Pro 13" that was brand new in May of 2020. It replaced a MBP more than 8 years old. I wanted a cover for general protection. I had a hard cover on the old one that performed well during many year of hard use.I ordered a new one but it did not fit. It took a while for 3rd parties to accommodate the changes with the new thinner, but not so thin as some, laptop. This one does fit. Read the description carefully and check the exact model number for your machine. The three pieces - top, bottom, keyboard cover - all fit and no interference with any functions. Bottom cover has lots of slots for air circulation.But this cover is very thin and I suspect it is mostly for cosmetic. Actually, the keyboard cover has a feel I like better that the 'naked keyboard ' without the cover. And it all still fits in the envelop style cover I bought first.

I’m shocked that this has good reviews - it’s has the quality of a regular copier from 15 years ago.There is no metallic gold on this case the colors are very muted and utterly disappointing and the rubber mold isn’t snug.

For the price, it’s not horrible. This MacBook 12" cover was more expensive than other ones, but I liked how it looked. The colors aren't quite as vibrant as they were in the Amazon listing photo, but it looks great on my (Rose) Gold MacBook 12". The keyboard cover is great - I was using another one and my MacBook wouldn't close with it in place. It does close with this one. The cover itself fits great - it only lost one star because the Apple logo on the case is CUT OUT so that dirt can creep in - that's the only thing I don't like. I wish the logo was "solid/filled" instead of a cutout...

The case is sturdy but mine was nowhere near as vibrant as other reviews I've seen. The keyboard cover also seems to be made for a different laptop version as it doesn't show the pound sign and the enter key isn't the same. Some of the 'gold' areas on the keyboard look really yellow which is such a shame. Disappointing for the price really.

I have a new 2020 MacBook and it fits perfectly. Doesn’t add any weight to it. Very durable. Was worried about it clashing with the gold color but it’s quite nice.

I bought the case for A2179 and I tripled checked the ordered the right one. The bottom comes close to fitting but not enough to actually stay on. The keyboard mat did not fit perfectly and the letters are slightly off from the actual keyboard so when the keyboard lights are on it looks weird. I would not suggest buying this. Also I had to buy it twice as the first time I bought it came damaged.

The case is nice and the design on the cover looks great and has a somewhat matte feel to it. Love that there's a cut out for the apple logo- nicely done. Only complaint is that the top and bottom cover don't line up and therefore my laptop doesn't completely close. Only a minor problem to the case but overall, love the design and the feel of the case.

Quality is okay. As much as I want to love it, Im quite disappointed. The photos I took will show. Its not very neat. I asked for a replacement but they said its “part of the pattern” & would only offer a discount which is not automatic. Will have to undergo some process of contacting amazon blah.
