I bought this to modify an existing ceiling fan/light that was too dim and it was annoying me.Backstory: I know that combining the light and fan onto a single set of wires is the standard for many light/fan combo's, but it really is a step backward for anyone that has their house already wired for dual input, particularly 3-way switches. The light on the existing fan wasn't awful but it wasn't as bright as we were wanting for a living room fan. Unfortunately it had a fixed LED rather than light bulbs, so I couldn't just put in higher output bulbs. I looked around to see if there was a conversion kit to put in bulbs and wasn't able to find anything. So I looked around to see if I can find a brighter LED panel that was compatible with this fan. There were a couple of potential lights, but I didn't want a repeat of my problem if the new panel still wasn't bright enough.Ok, so fortunately my old fan included a metal cover plate in case you don't want any light so modifying it to accept this light was pretty easy. I drilled a center hole in that metal light cover and mounted this light fixture directly under the fan. I ran the wires up though the middle of the fan, right alongside the original LED wires. The benefit of running completely new wires is that I now have my lights independent from the combo remote so that the light switch only controls the light and the fan switch now only controls the fan. I had originally planned on using the wire cage around the light bulbs, but in the end we decided to omit it and just use the exposed bulbs and I like the look. The light output is soooo much better and worth every penny.

I got this fixture when I redid my laundry room in an industrial motif. It's perfect! It looks great with Edison bulbs and a breeze to install.

I loved this fixture when I saw it but couldn't justify $70 for it. I checked Menards, Lowe's, and Home Depot and none had a fixture like this for less than $100 so I bit the bullet and got this one.My husband installed it easily (much easier than the other we bought on Amazon that barely had enough wire to connect to our wire).It looks great above my sink. It is an open fixture so you'll want the coated lights so you're not blinded by the filament like you would in the clear bulbs.It puts out a lot of light which I so desperately needed.Now to find a ceiling medallion to mount it to since the base doesn't cover the whole ceiling cutout.

We bought two of these for our kitchen and breakfast nook. They were easy to put up and the light they put out is amazing! These areas use to be dark and hard for me to read recipes. Not now! Great lights with such a fun farmhouse vibe.

The media could not be loaded. It's a nice light. Love the old 20s fan motif. The light sockets and all themselves are fairly cheap but sturdy.Mounting it is a little challenging. I had my wife help me hold it up, and our arms were killing us by the time it was installed.My advice is to mount the light sockets in the cage first, tighten it all down, then loosen the wiring and retie the wiring knot to make the wiring right between the fixture and the flush mount. Then mount the bracket, wire it up, tuck your wires away, and screw the flush mount to the bracket.

I used this product in my rec room. Looks great with the ceiling I just replaced. Easy to install and light weight was a must since the ceiling was a suspended one.

Excellent fixture, looks great! Like the seeded glass. All parts came in box nothing missing. Good quality light.
