68OZ Glass Pitcher with Lid and Spout - High Heat Resistance Pitcher for Hot/Cold Water & Iced Tea (2.0L)

This is a sturdy glass pitcher with a well functioning lid. The neck opening is too small for a hand to clean inside but is okay for a brush on a handle to wash by hand. The pitcher's glass handle is strong and attached well but is large and takes up room in the fridge. There is a rubber type ring to stretch onto the bottom of the pitcher to protect it which is very good. It is supposed to be ok for hot or cold liquids but I've only done cold liquids. I am more than pleased with the quality and size of this pitcher. I can recommend a purchase. I looked at many many other pitchers on Amazon and this is the best one to use instead of plastic ones to avoid the micro and nano plastic particles given off by plastics.

I love the pitcher, but it came without the lid. I don't want to return it. I would just like Abdodar to send us the lid. Since I don't have the lid I can't assess whether the pitcher is leak proof. I would probably give a much higher overall rating if we got the lid! UPDATE: After posting my first review, Abdodar contacted me and sent me a new pitcher with the lid. Now the pitcher is perfect. This is the right size for us. It is attractive and the lid fits snugly. It is also lightweight, which makes it easy to handle when it's full. Very happy with it. 5 stars now

Bottom of pitcher broke off from the body of the pitcher on second use. Very disappointing.

The products description said that the glass can hold safely up to heat without breaking. Opposed to past glass pitchers with thicker glass, this pitcher is very thin. I'm a little concerned that pitcher may not last and not sure if its' worth the the price of $35.00. However, I will use it because most other glass descriptions are reviewed the same and some say you can't use it with Hot water. Hopefully, the special glass that its made from based on the description holds true.

You can use the pitcher for anything that you can think of. Its shape is lovely and lid quite tight. I've used it for ice tea, but lovely Christmas flowers would look special also. Highly recommend this product.

Although there are a few things I do like about this pitcher, I wish I had bought a different one. Here’s my likes and dislikes... (UPDATE at the end) Likes: - It looks beautiful - I can brew my iced tea in it at the required 96 degrees Celsius steeping temperature. - It fits my iced tea batch perfectly, which calls for a total of 64 oz of water. (The pictures shown with iced tea in it - that’s roughly 64 oz water.) - I can fit my whole hand and wrist through the opening to clean it (see picture). But if you have large hands or thick wrists you may need a brush to clean this. I’m quite petite. Dislikes: - MAJOR dislike: the spout drips like crazy after you pour!!! So disappointed! What does one have to do to get a good spout around here? Even if I try to gently pour and gently lift up, it still leaks! - The lid in the closed position still doesn’t seal the container because there is a lovely gap between the silicon grip and the pitcher wall (see picture). What’s the point of the lid if you can’t have a completely closed position??? Arrgg! Overall: if you want something that will completely close and won’t drip, look elsewhere. Otherwise, if you don’t care about those things, it’s a great pitcher for you. UPDATE 11/30/20: I actually contacted customer support to kindly ask them if maybe perhaps my lid was defective somehow, because there is that odd gap between the silicone/rubber band and the container near the spout (see picture). I also told them about how it drips so much after I GENTLY pour (see video). Their response was basically like “we’ll take it into consideration BUT...it’s just an iced tea pitcher, not a sealed jar”. Well, no matter what it’s used for, who wants a pitcher that drips and leaks everywhere after pouring? And I’m not crazy for wanting something that will keep my iced tea fresh longer with a lid that closes all the way, or keep bugs out if I want to take the pitcher outside. Their consolation was to offer me a free pitcher - a different version (the one that has a better sealing lid, but is smaller, too small for my iced tea batch size) and then they asked me to change my review! Kinda felt like I was being bribed. They think they can just buy your review. A free pitcher doesn’t change the fact that the design is horrible. So no, I’m not changing my 1-star rating and I don’t want the free pitcher. UPDATE 06/26/21 The husband ended up breaking the pitcher while washing it, as borosilicate glass tends to be vulnerable to easy breakage, I know that because I worked in a chemistry lab where everything was borosilicate glass, so I don’t think this one is the seller’s fault. Decided to get a borosilicate glass pitcher from Target this time, and it was only $15!! Instead of the $20+ for this one. Same fluid capacity, AND the Target pitcher lid seals completely!! Also it has a better handle that’s easier to hold, and just feels sturdier overall. So, there’s a better option for ya folks. Good luck to you all! :)

Nice pitcher

Mainly use this pitcher, for filtered fridge water. LOVE IT! STURDY, ATTRACTIVE, POURS WELL...LOOKS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN WHAT I PAID FOR IT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Love this it reminds me of something from pottery barn or crate barrel! It’s thinner than it looks but I like it! The one I purchased holds 12 cups! Love it!

The handle is extremely thin for the size of this pitcher. I have to hold the bottom every time because I'm scared it'll break off. The pitcher itself is really nice though for hot and cold beverages.

Pour moi, c'est l'étanchéité du bouchon qui était important et il ne coule pas. Le pichet est très léger se qui facilite sa manipulation lorsqu'il est plein. Parfait pour un usage domestique.
