My watch collection is very small as I’ve only started the past couple of years. This piece is my first Bulova and was an anniversary gift from my wife, and it has immediately made it to the top of my list. I was eagerly awaiting for it to arrive after purchasing it on sale on Prime Day, a great deal at 30% off. The presentation was nice, a beautiful gift box that was very satisfying to open. It makes a very nice gift and makes a great first impression. The watch itself has beautiful blue that contrasts very nicely against the gold. I typically don’t go for gold, but the combination is very eye catching. The red inlays on the hands are very nice, with my only complaint being that the red date can be hard to see at times. Overall, it’s not too busy - I find many watches try too hard and get away from the function of easily seeing the time at a glance. Note that the hand you would expect to be the second hand is used for the chronograph (stop watch) function. I’ve read that many people are initially confused by this but I researched and knew in advance. The strap is thick and comprised of blue leather (in the middle along the top) and silicone (sides and bottom). The red stitching is gorgeous and stands out while tying in the design and colour schemes of the face. The thickness surprised me, but none more than the comfort! You very quickly forget that you are wearing a watch, and I feel that the combination of materials will help the durability, which is what I see lacking in other watches/straps that I own. This is not a Rolex, but I will never own a Rolex. Its style matches me, it catches my eye and at the sale price I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. This will not be the only Bulova I will own, but I couldn’t be happier with my first foray into this brand.

Absolutely beautiful watch. Expect two compliments per day. There is a similar one with silver casing (not gold colored) just does not pop as much. I won't drop rating, but box was a little stained and it looked like a band was torn open as part of presentation of box (probably via customs inspection) so not their fault. Serial number jibes perfectly with Bulova's home page so item is legitimate. Watch's face is a beautiful sapphire and in different lights shines off a bit of tiel, and what really makes it pop is the little bit of red involved on the tip of the second hand and the little tiny hands of the stopwatch features (that no one really uses ofc). 10/10 beauty and fit. Will look different in different lights (see pics) but always beautiful. Comes with three year manufacturer warranty (I think maybe two). Buy it. Looks like a $XXXX watch easily.
