Aquaterior 5" Touchless Bathroom Sink Faucet with Cover Plate Control Box Cold Hot Water Tap Motion-Activated Brushed Nickel (Cups, NSF,CEC)

I needed a new faucet for an old three hole faucet ceramic sink. First challenge was dealing with the smaller than standard center hole. With the closed cell foam gasket under the trim plate I was able to work with only one threaded rod to tie down the assembly and it snugged up perfectly with no movement. Not ideal but it works well. In a "public" work environment I also added a small bead of silicone around the base of the nozzle to seal the joint between trim plate and the nozzle. I did find, with our high water pressure and the 2.2 GPM flow capacity of the faucet that I had to trim down the volume of water using the hot and cold shut off valves. Otherwise you splash water everywhere. Remember to use ½" FIP fittings for the ½" g thread connections. No leaks. Thoroughly pleased with the end result and will be installing two more.

We were really excited about this, but the batteries are hard to change out unless you have an outlet under your sink.This worked well for the first 6 months and the last 6 months it had worked intermittently, then stopped working completely for a few weeks, so we bought a new one, then it randomly started working again. A bit frustrated, wouldn't purchase again, not worth 6 months of touchlesa water to be a problem the rest of the time

It is stop working less than a month. (Installed on 3/30 and stop working 4/13) The sensor light up can hear the click sound but no water coming out. Waste of money and effort

Very difficult to install. The lower bracket is difficult to put on and get past the fitting on the end of the hose. The wing nuts supplied are impossible to use due to lack of clearance. If you install the bracket and wing nuts before installing the hose, then there is no clearance to tighten the hose.

Has an AC plug so you don't need batteries!

Works great for bathrooms. Used to keep the toddlers from leaving the water on after washing hands. No issues yet.

Took a chance, and got six for my office. Two months in, no problems so far. Had them professionally installed by plumber though. Works pretty well. Sensor distance works fine for me. It does seem a bit abrupt when the water turns on/off, but it's really not bad at all. For the price, I'm happy, considering, a "brand" alternative would have been at least 5 time the price.Update:These things are still working fine. I'm now thinking about getting more. I don't understand what all the other bad reviews are about.... my guess is something went wrong during installation. Get it installed by a plumber...
