NikonBinocular's Sportstar Zoom

The sheer convenience of use, light in weight and fairly compact, they are easy to carry and ready to hand when needed. The optics are, of course, very good and the lever zoom function means you can enlarge a subject quickly and easily to see more detail and zoom out again just as easily. The higher magnifications available means you cannot hold them steady for very long and there isn't a tripod option but that is beside the point which is to identify perhaps a building or some wildlife in the distance and then return to a normal magnification that you can hold steady. I'm very pleased and happy with this purchase!

I have just purchased some Binocular's on Amazon with a 10 x zoom for £100. They were Ok but they did not excite me much (I was not over impressed with 10 x zoom and size) and so I sent them back and ordered the Nikon's for £150. Zoom on this is x 24 which is over double of the previous which I think is amazing for such a small unit. Ok it's hard to keep it still on full zoom but that is not the units fault which is clear. I love the size, the zoom facility, the quality and the case and yes it's nice to 'show off' a brand name on the Binocular's that is famous for camera's. I gave it 5* on everything reflecting on it's price.

A very good pair of binoculars. The ergonmics are first class and the resolution is slightly better than my 8x 25 Steiner pair. Add on the smooth zoom and Nikon have a winner here. To make this a great pair of binos, Nikon would need to make them waterproof and add a tripod connection point and a thicker carrying strap.

Great pair of binoculars! Unlike other reviews I read, the case and strap are suitably secure to hold the binnies in. When you use the maximum zoom, you do need a steady hand, but that's expected. Great for travel.

Compared to other binoculars I have used so far, these are excellent. They are small and light enough to carry around, have a good field of vision for small binoculars and, best of all, the zoom is very smooth and easy to use.

Lovely and light! Easy for kids to have around their neck all day. Need to lean on something at higher magnifications due to any shake of the hand. Good clear images. Good first set of binoculars.

Great for the beach to see dolphins 🐬

This item is to replace same I have had for years. It is good but more plastic then original. Not as smooth working.
