THESE are what Sony should have included in their product
Sony's earbuds are pretty good... they should be for the £££££s they cost. But the rubber/plastic/silicon tips supplied are awful. In fact... they are painful to wear, don't keep the earphones attached to the ears and slowly slide out of the ears, falling to the ground. Stupid, stupid design. These TrueGrip Pro tips from Comply are HEAVEN! Not only do they key the earbuds actually inserted into my ears, they are so comfortable they can even feel - from time to time - like they're hardly in my ears. Noise cancelling: not so much a strong feature of these tips; I use the hardware noise-cancelling features for that. Also, there's various "heads-up" in the instructions that these tips (3 per pack) will not last forever, so to take care of them and wash occasionally with some plain water will help. Shame, because these are very expensive (£3+ per tip) but worth it for the comfortableness and the ability to stay in my ears.

Great tight fit, amazing noise isolating properties. But very easily broken.
Amazing, comfortable ear tips. Great sound isolation. Can definitely be used for long listening periods. But they are very easily broken through fairly light use. I've had one tip break and split on my after approx 4 uses.

A worthwhile purchase
My Sony M3's have never fitted well and the selection of silicone ear buds supplied with the headphones were all enormously uncomfortable and I was dubious as to whether the noise cancelling function actually worked. I almost ditched the earbuds completely but thought I'd try some new ear tips before I completely gave up on them, as most of the ear bud reviews were hugely positive. I did think that £19 was rather expensive for 3 sets of ear tips, but the reviews seemed favourable so I ordered and hoped for the best. Wow!!! These little tips have by far exceeded my expectations. Not only are the ear buds way more comfortable (no more itchy and sore ears) but they are so much more secure in my ears - the fit is absolutely perfect and with a perfect fit comes premium sound quality and exceptional noise cancelling. I cannot believe what a difference these little tips have made. I wish Sony supplied these as standard rather than 7 pairs of useless tips which don't fit properly and distort the sound of what are great ear buds. If you're considering these, don't. Just buy them - they make such a difference to the listening experience you won't regret a single penny.

Good but will wait to see how long they last.
Bought these for the Sony XM5s. Very good fit onto the headphones. Tight and expanding fit within ears. Definitely a good replacement for the original. They are slightly large than the original large size, but fit absolutely fine. If yours are getting tierd then I'd recommend. Apparently these only last a few months, but I'm hoping that isn't the case. As if that's true they are overpriced massively.

So comfortable
I’ve recently bought some Sony wf-1000xm3 earbuds which I have been blown away by in terms of sound quality compared with my previous first generation AirPods. The one downside I have found is comfort. Despite the Sonys coming with multiple tips, I have struggled to achieve a level of sound isolation without the buds becoming uncomfortable after a period of time. I’ve used Comply tips before and they are second to none in terms of achieving a great fit. I guess ultimately it is going to depend on the size and shape of your ear canals but it really is worth investing in the Comply tips. My only real gripe is that it doesn’t seem possible to buy the tips in a mixed size pack as available direct from Comply (at quite a cost from the USA due postal costs). This means you have to take a bit of a punt and order three the same size. I opted for medium as this matched the best fitting Sony tips that I had been using on the buds. This seemed to work well for me although I suspected I could also have gone for large. Very, very happy with my purchase, there really is no substitute for Comply tips.

Not for everyone, went straight back to silicone
I bought these to replace a lost ear tip on my Sony WF-XB700 and assumed “premium memory foam” would be an upgrade. It really wasn’t. They feel odd in the ear compared to the original silicone tips – constantly noticeable rather than something you forget is there. Worse, they seem to pull out loads of dead skin/ear debris, which quickly makes the earbuds look grim and unhygienic even with normal ear care. Sound isolation is fine, but comfort and cleanliness are not. For the price (£18.49), this felt like a downgrade rather than an improvement. If you like foam tips or need maximum isolation, maybe these are for you. But if you’re coming from standard Sony silicone tips and want a like-for-like replacement, I’d strongly recommend sticking with silicone instead. I regret not doing that in the first place.

Beware with the sizing on these as they can pop out
I had bought some Comply Tips for a pair of Shure 215s and had a problem with them yet they are highly rated. I find they slip out. Despite this, because of the rave reviews, I thought I would go with these top of the range True Grips which are supposed to grip, but they don't. I wanted some tips to fit to my Sony WF1000XM4s. The Sony size that fitted me best was the small, so I ordered a pair of Comply smalls. As I hope my snaps indicate the Complys are a tad bigger than the Sonys. The Complys use a memory foam that expands to fit the ear canal. My problem is that the expansion actually pushes the tip out and they popped out much to my annoyance, when I was wearing them to do the washing up! Fortunately, I managed to stop them getting wet. When I looked at the Sonys side by side with the Complys I can see why, they do not fit so neatly. the Sonys are longer and slimmer. So my personal experience is that these are not as good as the ratings suggest. It might be that my earholes are the problem but I think they have let me down because they are a tad too big and the memory foam expansion is quite aggressive and dislodges the buds hence the sound quality and noise isolation is not so good for me.

For the past two years I’ve been using my Sony WF-1000XM5 extensively. Fantastic sound, but they have never been comfortable for me to wear, and the noise isolation has been really poor despite supposedly being among the best on the market. I was really disappointed but I kept thinking it was my ears that didn't fit and that were the problem, since these earbuds are considered some of the most popular, best, and most expensive. Now I’ve been trying these Comply for a while, and the difference is like night and day, soft and comfortable in my ears, and I finally have good noise isolation.

I have bought those for three different types of earbuds now: Sony, Apple, Bose. I’d describe them as ‘essential’. The rubber tips that tend to come with those earbuds are… acceptable. The foam makes huge difference when used as recommended. The Sony version I am reviewing made the difference between the earbuds staying in my ears vs not quite. Shame there’s no XL version. But I can’t complain about a product that doesn’t exist. L is good enough, it just could be even better, apparently I have extra large ear canals. Anyway, 100% recommended if you need noise cancelling and your earbuds don’t seem to do the job well enough – the TrueGrip tips will magically make the earbuds better.

Been looking at replacement ear buds for original Sony foam tips. This looks to be perfect along with a debris guard and the fit is great, and easier to put into the ear canals as compared to the original sony, which is stiffer. Don
