Folding fire stove
Easy to build a small fire and can even heat water or food on top. Folds flat and takes up very little room. Very good quality.

Compact and User Friendly
Recently we were without power for a number of hours, and decided to give our newly purchased stove a go, it did not disappoint. We were looking for a light, compact, easily packable stove that would burn common branches that could be found anywhere, campmax was chosen over other stoves because of it's one piece construction. It was easy to light with just the minimal amount of tinder (newspaper/small twigs), once started we just needed to supply the sticks. The construction is solid, and steady once the base grate was emplaced in its brackets. As the fire matured, it burned very clean, and created a nice bed of coals. We used a 8" iron skillet weighting about 12 lbs, and a steel pot at roughly the same weight, and experienced no rocking or bending of the stove. After use and cooled I didn't notice any warpage of the stove and it went right back into the provided pouch. We were also delighted at how quickly the heat dissipated and allowed me to pack it up in short order. If you are looking to cook a 3 course meal on a camp stove, campmax isn't for you. This stove is strictly a packable stove, that will not take up room in your backpack, or your get home bag, and it worked as advertised. I think my next test will be how it can handle a cast iron dutch oven.

Easy set up, compact for day hikes, picnics for two
Sturdy, (door handle is a little flimsy), easy set up, easy clean up. Makes a great compact fire pit too. I would suggest modifying the grill so there is height for air flow between a pan and stove. I had to lift the pan several times to keep it from smothering the fire. Opening the door on a windy day wasnโt a good option to keep the flames going. This is best used to grill directly on the grates, yet a grease fire would be my concern with hamburgers. Hot dogs would be okโฆ maybe veggies in a tin foil. This six inch pan was too large to cook on without raising the pan. All in all I really like this little stove and made metal risers to accommodate my pan that fit nicely inside the stove when I put it away in its carrying case. Keep something with it to open and close the door and remove the grates when adding to your twigs, sticks, etcโฆ obviously this gets very hot with refilling.

Chop that wood ๐ชต
I got the small one but heck yeah, campmax for the win, Iโll only use this bank fishing but love the size, nice neat and easy to pack gives great heat if alone or a couple. Havenโt tried cooking but I have no doubts. Glad I got mine and will probably purchase the larger ones, itโs really useful for the price as well grab em

Good Addition to B.O.B.
This is perfect for my bug-out kit. It's lightweight enough that if you keep everything else as small as possible, you won't notice it in your bag. And the physical size is ideal, both for storing and for using. Can't beat it. You'll be able to either boil some water in a kettle, or grill two hotdogs, or grill one hamburger, at a time with this stove. So this may not be the best "grill" for multiple people. But it would do for making coffee for a group from a kettle. It's a survival tool, not a luxury item, but it does have quality build in my opinion.

Not happy
Poor packaging. Pot holder scratched the hell out of stainless steel. Ash catch tray doesn't fit the slot. Contacted the seller 4 days ago and they still haven't gotten back to me. Do not purchase

Previously returned item.
I received a previously returned item as the packaging showed that the item's plastic covering was removed. There were streaks on the outer walls of the stove. Because all the parts were there, I decided to keep it anyway, but I'm not happy I had to pay full price for an item not considered brand new. If not for that, I would have given it a 5.

Strong. High Grade Stainless Steel
Strong and very sturdy. Made of high grade stainless steel. Instantly snaps in place, assembles in a second. Folds away neatly and thinly in the supplied carry bag.
