My only complaint with this product is that does slide a bit before the bottom the shoe's outsole grips the floor. I work in a retail setting and walk 8-10 hours on a floor that varies from polished cement, ply wood, plastic, tile, laminate and steel. After about 120 hours of wearing the shoes I have noticed the only surface I have ever felt slide not slip but slide under me is polished cement.Other than this issue... it feels like a solid made pair of shoes and totally happy with purchase and will buy another when needed. It being New Balance is plus for me as I have good experiences with insoles and outsoles of their brand. The top is solid haven't had any accidental cart running toes since getting them. The insoles more than anything was an unexpected good find. I was already searching out new insoles before they arrived but when I got them delivered and tried them on for the first few hours I had no need to look for new ones until I "Flintstone" and smash through the joint line padding.

Great shoes, terrible insoles.
The media could not be loaded. The shoes are amazing. I got these in the 13 4E size. I love the roominess and how wide they are. They also have a wide base and platform which I like. They breathe well and are lightweight considering they're alloy toe. Best and most important of all, they feel like actual tennis shoes and not work shoes.Now the bad. The insoles are terrible! I'm a bigger guy around 290 but I've only been wearing these for two days and realized the insoles were no bueno. As you can see from the photos the very thin foam insoles are already crushed in places allowing little to no rebound. I've only worn them for 2 8 hour work shifts. I've remedied this by replacing them with Dr. Scholls Extra Support insoles which seem to fit this shoe like a glove without trimming. Now, they're like walking on air!

A good pair of shoe except for the shoe lace.
Pretty good overall with comfort and metal toe protection in work environment. The only issue is with the shoe lace. They don't want to stay tied. It keeps slipping and getting untied constantly. Maybe cotton based material will hold better.

Excellent Shoes, pitiful shipping
The shoes a pretty good shoes my first pair lasted almost a year when I replaced them, with plenty of life remaining in them. The problem is the shipping, it gets really disappointing for everything you purchase to be torn up when you get your product delivered. It’s kinda understandable from the shippers point of view, it’s shipped in a .10 cent plastic bag. I guess it’s time to find suppliers that will deliver products correctly.

Fits perfectly
For my 10.5 EE feet. Very lightweight and comfortable compared to my steel toe boots. I just sit at a desk at a farm in Hawaii but bump into tractors and other large objects. Good toe protection. They don't let my feet breathe and my socks are sweaty and kind of stinky aftercwork even with foot powder added in the morning before going to work. Nylon socks help with that. They seem waterproof.

Not for plus sized people
I have been wearing these for a few months now and am enjoying certain aspects of them, while, not enjoying other aspects. The good part is that, with the exception of the insole, they are comfortable. Even now, I cannot tell them I am wearing anything but standard tennis shoes. In the past, I could always tell that I was wearing steel or composite toed shoes, because the front end was very uncomfortable, if you have worn steel toed boots or shoes, I am sure you know what I am talking about. The bad part about these shoes is that the padding in the insole is not very sturdy and has already compressed to the point that walking in them bothers my feet. I am a large person, so, that may have something to do with it. If you are a normal weight, you will probably not have that problem.

Good for light to medium work
As low tops they won't add any ankle support but for 9-11 hours days on my feet with sole inserts they did well. They don't last more that 10 months to a years of daily wear but that's a given. Would recommend.

Incomodisimos , Estéticamente buenos. Pero nada recomendables
El producto es de calidad se ve bien a la vista y la gente nota tus calzado. Pero .... Son incomodisimos . No tienen soporte o la.suela está nulamente acojinada. Estar de pie con ellos es muy muy incómodo. Así que busquen otras opciones.... Tengo otros de marca Skechers y la suela interna es un poco más cómoda. Estos new balance es como traer un zapato industrial común que no son nada cómodos. Así los new balanceEl área del casquillos es algo reducida así que pues si esperan.mover sus dedos van a batallar. Largo y ancho es std.En fin yo no los recomendaría.

Bueno, no cansan tanto y ligeros
Se sienten como un tenis, nunca habia utilizado calzado de seguridad en presentacion de tenis y se sienten muy bien al momento de escribir este review puedo decir despues de 3 horas de uso se siente muy bien lo que si le cambie fue la plantilla inmediatamente ya que tienen una muy sencilla sin soporte en el arco, le puse unas dr sholls que son para gente arriba de 90kg y estan muy bien a comparacion de las botas pesadas del trabajo. Update: después de pasar por el arco de detección de metales me di cuenta que son de acero la punta así que si en tu empresa tienen arcos de detección cada que salgas vas a estar pitando solo para tenerlo en cuenta.En un tiempo mas adelante dare detalles de como las he sentido pero me han quitado la preocupacion de tener calzado de seguridad en el trabajo porque ya no me cansan y se siente la diferencia, si les recomiendo cambiar la plantilla por algo mejor ya sea de unos tenis por ejemplo asics o unas dedicadas como las dr. que mencione arriba.de entrada son excelentes para estar mas ligero y menos cansancio, recomiendo estos tenis

Despues de un par de semanas, puedo decir que al momento se siente bien pero si sería recomendable en considerar una plantillas de mejor calidad, las que trae no son del todo malas pero conforme avanza la jornada se empieza a sentir la falta del confort de las plantillas. En general muy bien producto al momento de realizar el presente comentario. El único inconveniente o malo es que cuando realizas el pedido y seleccionas la talla, si pides talla normal lo recibes en wide y como consecuencia es mas amplio a lo ancho principalmente, algo que no me agrado, pues por eso seleccionas un tipo de talla. Aun asi se sienten bien y lijeros con respecto a unas botas de seguridad.

Buenos pero poco grandes
Los tenis son muy comodos y me llegaron antes del tiempo esperado, pero me quedaron media talla grande. Amazon solo me dio las opciones en cms (en este caso, 27.5cms) y como es importación me llegaron del 9.5 que es la conversión del 27.5cm. Lo que no especificaron es que los tenis llegaron "Wide" o "2E" que son un poco más grandes que la medida estándar. No es nada que una plantilla no arregle pero si me hubiera gustado que me dieran esa opcion para pedir tenis regulares o pedir media talla abajo.

HERMOSOS PERO SON WIDE!!!
Están super padres, el único detalle es que no especifican que son Wide, así que me quedaron super grandes. Si tu pie es ancho son perfectos para ti, de lo contrario no sé si media talla menos arregle el problema. Pero sí están muy padres, parecen tenis normales.
