Perfect
I have been using Brooks Ghost sneakers for road running for years now, and I love them, but I needed a shoe that was better suited to trail running, lots of roots and rocks. These were perfect in fit, comfort, and stability. I was nervous to order online a shoe that I've never used before, but I took the advice of other buyers and bought one half size up from my regular sneaker size, and I couldn't have asked for a better fit.

Be sure to size up! Awesome shoes!
I have wanted some La Sportiva trail running shoes for a while now but had been hesitant about buying online because I heard they run small. I went to the La Sportiva site to read reviews and information about sizing and sized up as recommended. I normally wear a women's size 9 with an average to medium fit. I ordered the 9/10 and they fit perfectly!I just got them, and even though it's raining, I decided to take a trail run through my woods. The terrain is definitely technical with gravel, rocks, roots, hills, wet leaves and pine needles, mud, puddles, and some wet grass. I also had my very hyper Jack Russell Terrier running with me on a lead, and she's sometimes all over the place. The shoes performed brilliantly! They're lightweight and hug my feet nicely. Though they're below my ankles, they give great support. I felt like I was gliding over the terrain. Some of the hills had wet pine needles and I could run straight down with no toe crunch or side winding my way down.I ran through some thick mud and didn't sink too bad and my feet stayed dry. The only thing that slowed me down was I got out of breath a couple times or stopped when the doggo ran out in front of me.They're so comfortable I haven't taken them off yet. I wore slightly thick Smartwool socks and my feet didn't sweat or feel cramped.I only just got them and this is my first run so if anything changes I'll share an update. 5+ stars!!

Great shoes for hiking
This is a great shoe for hiking in the woods. They are slightly narrower so I purchased a pair half a size bigger than my regular Nike sneakers. We went on a 7.5 mile hike with had a lot of slippery stones and steep inclines and they performed great. They stick to the ground nicely which made the hike. They have good toe protection so small rocks were not an issue.

Run on the tighter side
These shoes run on the tighter end, I don’t recommend them if you have wide feet which I do, I usually wear a size 9 1/2 - 10 and their 10 is a little cramped, I would have returned them but I wore them and they felt good at first then as my foot started to swell they didn’t feel so great.

For average feet, true to size fit. Awesome traction! Comfortable!
Bought for first mountain hike. It was a very challenging wet leaf, wet rock, and rough terrain. The grip of the shoe was wonderful. No issues with my feet when done which meant they did the job comfortably. The temp outside was 30 degrees. My feet were warm and I used thin cotton socks. I wouldn't say they are waterproof, but *mildly* water resistant. My feet or socks were not wet, despite the damp terrain. I now use these for work everyday. I have some feet issues and my feet hurt sometimes BUT NEVER WITH THESE shoes. Even after 8 hours of work standing and running around on my feet! Highly recommend.*** THESE ARE FOR AN AVERAGE DIMENSION FOOT. If your foot is tall or wide over what would be considered average, then you may want to consider something else.

Hug and Control Running Shoe
Love these shoes! They fit to the foot and hug to the slick rock without slipping. What a welcome relief when running. However, they are a minimal shoe and id recommend them for folks who’ve not suffered injuries in the past. But you want a shoe that fits and has control, this is absolutely the shoe.

Very grippy rubber and nice flexible fit.
I normally wear size 7 women's but when I tried them on in-store the 8.5 seemed to fit best. I got these online for cheaper a few days later and after a few hikes I was glad I went with 8.5. I wore these to hike Half Dome in Yosemite and these felt very secure on the granite rock, provided nice support and were flexible enough to wear I felt like I could sort of *feel* what I was walking over unlike hiking boots. I would repurchase! These fit my narrow feet much better than other trail shoes I have tried.

Impressive shoe
I did a lot of research for an OCR shoe and took a chance with this one. I have narrow feet, high arches and I’m a Brooks Ghost girl, size 9. These fit me perfectly (I ordered size 9) and required NO break in for me. My first time wearing them I conquered a Spartan Beast, totaling around 15 miles. My feet never hurt, no blisters, and I felt secure and stable on all different terrain & conditions. Proper trail/OCR shoes made a HUGE difference for me. (I did use insoles in mine for my arches & they fit well.) Plus, they rinsed off beautifully and look new again minus some small abrasions from the laces to the shoe tongue. It seems only cosmetic. I’m a new La Sportiva fan! Can’t wait to wear them again, thank you!

Fit perfectly. Lightweight.
Expensive shoe but never before have I had a show that fit perfectly the moment I out them on. No pain breaking them in. My runs were enjoyable.
