Not really, no, those buttons have functions even if not programmed. You could possibly use other existing dash switches but not without a LOT of hassle, which rather defeats the purpose of this item.

Q: Is there a spot on the Switch or relay connector where I can use a key-on lead to avoid the lights coming on withot the key turned?

Depends on your vehicle, but it should be possible.

Q: Dumb question, if i have one of the leads going to back of my mower, can i hook up two led lights to that one lead?
