Movistar official helmet
I had to buy this helmet after watching the Netflix documentary on Movistar. I don't know why the other reviews are so low, I can't understand whatever language it's in. This is an awesome, lightweight helmet with a LOT of ventilation. It doesn't stick out in front like some helmets that make it look like you have a mushroom head. I love this helmet, and now I can pretend I'm on the Movistar team riding the Giro D'Italia.

What a huge disappointment. I took a lot of time deciding on the "Gleaming Silver" because it looks as though they try to portray it shining to simulate chrome. It's flat, no gloss silver. It is an extremely cheap built helmet. I've seen similar helmets from other manufactures at 25% of what I paid for this one. I would have been much better off going to a store and spend so much less for an equally similar helmet. The only thing I can say that I like about this helmet, It's a perfect fit.

Fits well
This helmet actually does seem like a good value. The fit is nice, I got size M and my other helmet was Giro universal size 54-61cm, so this one in size M being 52-58cm fits me well. The straps are an upgrade to the old Giro, as you can adjust the strap length independently on each ear side and the chin. Straps feel fairly soft, nothing extraordinary from that perspective. The cushioning is decent, slightly thicker and in few extra places than old helmet. Retention system adjust easily to form proper fit, overall very pleased although not sure yet if it gets hot in summer or cold in cooler temps. I wanted something a bit more unique and I think I got it, but next time I should go for a bit more color as this black is just matte and a bit boring, lol. FYI, the picture of black velvet shows a bit of paint design on back of the helmet but mine is all plain black, no design...

Awkward fit and hot
In 95 degree weather this helmet is way too hot. I have had many helmets and ride all year long, but this is the hottest helmet i have ever worn. It also pushes my glasses down on my nose some how. I'm not even sure how its doing it, lol, but it's uncomfortable.

Better than more expensive ones
This helmet it's great for hot or long rides as it does provide great ventilation and you don't feel like it's there... (after a long ride, I went in my car with my helmet on)

Ventilation & ponytail access😊
Needed to replace my helmet and needed one that allowed for a ponytail, yay!!! This helmet is great for ventilation, I live in central Texas, so I am happy with my choice😊
