My wife and I were looking to change out our builder grade door hardware and found these by Kwikset. I've had Kwikset locks before but not standard door knobs and didn't know what to expect. These really have exceeded all of my expectations and fit in great with the look of our paneled door. I found them very easy to install and was able to switch out each old knob in under 15 minutes. The knob comes with all of the hardware needed to replace the old hardware including matte black strike plate, face plate, and screws. The knobs have a beautiful and durable matte black finish that I think contrast well with white doors. They even endured a scratch I thought I left from accidentally running the tip of my screwdriver on the knob's side and wiped off well. These are also reversable and can be used on either left or right side door knobs (this is done by being able to remove the actual knob with a hex allen L wrench to flip it). Compared to my old knobs, the Pismo set is sturdier, a tad harder to turn to open the door, and is smooth when turning. They also do not move around when pulling on them. The last thing I want to mention that I love about them is the additional key it comes with to unlock just in case you need to bypass the lock. Using the small hole in the front, the small L shaped, flat head type key twists the locking mechanism from the inside and allows you to unlock the door. I also found that the key is also small enough to hide above my top door trim piece. Overall, I love the color and how sturdy this knob is compared to other door knobs I've had in the past. It works well and based on my experience after using it daily for several months, I hope and don't expect to have any issues! Note: The interior "Privacy" knobs are the ones that have the lock on them as compared to the "Passage" or "Dummy" (not lockable) knobs.

It's good looking, easy to install, but the knob is reall stiff and kinda difficult to turn. But it feels really high quality and durable.

Easy install. Look great. Nice upgrade. Kwikset knobs are nice because they come with various options for the parts that fit inside the jamb and the knob is removable with included allen wrench to tighten the holding screws without scratching the black knob.

Love the look of these Kwikset Pismo door knobs. I changed out 5 door knobs to modernize the look of my house and I'm pleased with the results. The spring in these are fairly stiff, though, so they take a little more grip to open than you might expect. Nothing bad, just a little tighter than what I had before.

Excellent product

The door knob looks good. However, the quality is below average. The square cover plates do not sit properly. They rattle. They do not come with fasteners. They basically have pinch points on the sides which can loosen overtime, and they have. So, I put a dob of glue to fix that. They are not worth the price.

La verdad tenía mis dudas de comprarlo en México por otro Review malo de que le llegó usado y abierto 2 veces, pero yo hice la compra y la verdad es que sin ningún problema, llegó en su paquete nuevo y el producto en condiciones excelentes, solo es un poco raro que no son paquetes sellados, pero todo venía completo. Volvería a comprar.

I wanted to return one of the door knob but just need the item now. 2 screw is missing so we have purchased black screw from Bunnings.
