These suet cakes are fantastic and have become a staple for my backyard bird feeders. They are packed with natural ingredients like sunflower seeds and corn blended with rendered beef suet. They hold up incredibly well, especially in the summer and rainy season, without melting into a gooey mess or crumbling apart. Most importantly, the birds absolutely love them. They draw so many different woodpecker varieties to our backyard, along with plenty of colorful songbirds. Getting them in a ten-pack case is so convenient and means I always have a fresh cake ready when the feeders run low.

The birds LOVE THIS! We live in a northern suburb of Atlanta and we can't get over how many different kinds of birds visit this feeder (and the feeder next to it). We are also about to order this for the 6th time. The only negative thing is that the squirrels love it too. I've had to use bread ties to anchor the cage closed, and making loud clanging noises to scare the squirrels away. After reading the other other "anti-squirrel" reviews, I think we will stick with this one.

I picked up this Heath Outdoor Products bird feeder to attract more birds to our yard, and it’s been one of the better feeders I’ve owned. It was quick to put together, easy to hang, and filling it with seed is simple without making a huge mess. The feeder feels well made and has held up nicely through rain, wind, and the occasional squirrel trying to investigate it. What I’ve enjoyed most is how quickly the birds found it. Within a couple of days we had chickadees, finches, cardinals, and even a few woodpeckers visiting regularly. The larger capacity is a nice bonus because I’m not constantly refilling it, and it’s easy to take apart when it’s time to clean. Overall, it’s a quality feeder that looks great in the yard, keeps the birds coming back, and has been well worth the purchase. I’d definitely buy another one if I needed an additional feeder.

When the box arrived, there were only 8 Suet Cakes in the Health Outdoor box instead of the 10 advertised on the product. Otherwise no complains, birds love it!

Not much to say other than the birds love it! During peak season its is easy to go through a couple cakes a day. At that rate the price of this suet is highly appreciated. It doesn't melt too extreme and is easy to put in the feeder.

In my suet feeder, a double I had this brand and another. I noticed my yard birds were not touching the other brand and my problem was as the cake is not labeled with a brand name I questioned which is it as it was taken out of the box and stored in my fridge. I searched my orders, watched the videos and there it was the unmarked suet cake I wanted. It was that important to go to the effort for the birds. The other brand cost more, had better reviews, but the birds would not touch it. Rancid? I would not know.

Birds went after it immediately - within first few hours I saw downy and red bellied woodpeckers, cat birds, blue jays, Carolina Wrens, sparrows, finches and nuthatches all enjoying it, then coming back for more. It was a little messier than another similar suet and not the easiest to remove from packaging. Also the individual packages are unlabeled. Still, given price point I'll recommend.
