So I installed new doors recently and one of the doors wouldn't shut right. It was rubbing against the frame. I tried adjusting the hinge by slightly hammering it. Dumb, I know. Anyway when installing another door, it was also rubbing. I took out one of the shims and it went away. So I'm like, great, I probably have a shim I need to take out in the other door. But I had this squeak and it was likely from trying to hammer the hinge to move it a little. It drove me nuts. It was loud and super squeaky. So I bought this product and it worked the moment I put it on. Quiet as could be. And guess what, weirdly enough, my door closes just fine. I might still pull a shim out later but it's not a necessity anymore. I'm thinking the hinges were so tight when opening and closing the door, it was causing the door to be shifted enough to rub against the frame. Now that it can move freely, the door is fine. Idk, it's weird. But this product is amazing and I'll be using it for any squeaky hinges I have. Highly, I mean highly recommend this!

I'm giving this a 5 for the product, not the packaging!! I used this oil 6 months ago, and it worked beautifully on a very squeaky door. I just bought another bottle, because I couldn't find the first, & it arrived with cap broken off and leaking. I returned that bottle & just received a new bottle with the exact same problem. Seriously! I have bought probably 20 small bottles of Essential oils over the years, & not one of them have ever leaked. Someone in the packaging department there should figure out how to put oil in a bottle that doesn't break off and leaf in transport. On top of it all, we can't get the lid off. If the product was not as good as it is, I would just return it and go with another source. SOO frustrating!FYI---Just received an email from a manager of the compan - I assuming after he saw my review. He offered to give me a 2 oz spray bottle or 4 oz bottle for my troubles. Soo, the company has does super customer service. He also said my back- to- back broken bottle situation was very unusual.

This product works very well! My glider rocking chair is twenty plus years old and has squeaked for many years, so badly in fact that I had stopped sitting in it because I could not find anything to reduce the noise. After applying this product once it helped reduce the amount of squeaking, and after the second application the noise was completely eliminated! So thankful that I found this product!

I have a metal canopy bed that i absolutely love and get so many compliments on. I didn’t want to have to get rid of it but the squeaking was getting out of control, to the point that it’d wake me up in the middle of the night. I decided to buy and try this first before getting an alternative bed. The small applicator makes it really easy to apply the lubricant between all spots where metal is touching. I did that and then let it sit for a few hours. I put my mattress back on and voila! It was silent!! I can’t tell you how big my smile was. This stuff is great and for me, even though it is a small bottle, the price is worth it! Hopefully this helps someone else out with a squeaky bed problem.

I applied the product as directed, just a few drops, on the three hinges on a very squeaky door. It worked like a charm. Four stars because it’s rather expensive for just one ounce.

I was skeptical when I first bought this, as I had never heard of a non-toxic utility lubricant. But I'm so glad I gave it a shot. Our new place had awfully creaky door hinges that woke everyone up in the middle of the night. The hinges are now quiet, and I don't have to worry about any residue being dangerous to us or our pup. A little goes a long way, and the peace of mind is worth the price. I will definitely buy again in the future.

It is natural lubricant but in humidity it makes the surface sticky.

Love that it's effective, non toxic, people, pets and environmentally friendly.

Great product, if a little pricey. I needed something to make my drapery rod smooth again as my grommet top drapes didn't move freely along the rod. This silicone lubricant look is odor free and non toxic and worked like a charm. My only complaint is it could be cheaper.

Will buy again, doors wre now silent, and without toxic fumes by-product.

Better than other non-toxic brands I've tried before.
