Expensive but much better than pump fuel
I use it in an old chainsaw without a cat and it reduces the exhaust smell and fumes to almost nothing - just the smell of the oil mixed in. It starts a bit easier and seems much less prone to causing gas locks in the fuel system when the machine is hot. - a problem with normal petrol which can make hot restarts difficult. Unless you’re a pro arborist a 5 litre bottle is going to last months, so an advantage is that it doesn’t go off like petrol or clog up the carb.

Practically vapourless 2 stroke pre-mixed fuel
After having to throw fuel away due to the ethanol content causing water buildup over several months of standing, I looked for a pre-mixed fuel that was ethanol free for my garden equipment. Reviews of Aspen 2 stroke fuel seemed promising and having tried it I can say that I wouldn't go back. There is practically no exhaust smell and my brushcutter seems so much happier running this fuel mix. I have had to re-tune it slightly as was running a little to fast at idle and a skoosh fat on the mid range.
