I called Athlon on this, and their Sales department said they are the same except for the color/logo design. He was surprised by the price on Amazon for the G2. I do like the green version better, but not for $50 more.

Q: Can you add an iPhone attachment

I don’t think so, they are just a pair of binoculars no Electronic’s. But they are really good.
