Better than brand name
I was nervous to buy off brand controllers but since covid and all the incredible price gouging I went for itI'm glad I did. These have the same exact buttons and even motion control and work exactly like the brand nameOnly downside is the added contour of them makes it so they wont fit into the different accessories for snapping controllers into BUT they are able to stay connected to the screen while docked, which is awesome, and I think they're more comfortable all aroundThey work great! Not a single problem connecting ever, and they might be more durable than the brand name, which often has problems with the joysticks tracking, even when you take good care of them

Buyer beware!
Update 4/6/21:Unfortunately, I have to update this review to concur with those that point out the extremely short window in which these replacement joy-cons function. I received these in mid-March and now, just two to three weeks later, the left joy-con has already stopped working completely. Because I got the clear ones, I can see that the left joy-con is just dead. It doesn't turn on while connected to the Switch or detached. So just know, these look great and are pretty awesome... While they actually work. Your mileage may vary but I'd just beware if you were looking to purchase these.Former review:I love these! I got the transparent ones and they look great on my Switch, fit nicely and snugly (unlike the official ones that do slide on/off more easily but feel shaky when connected), and are designed with a curved back that makes them more comfortable to hold than official joy-cons. Given that they're much cheaper than official joy-cons, I cannot recommend these enough!

Great alternative, small issues
If you're in the market to get joycon replacements but don't want to pay full price, these are a great alternative. Overall, they feel pretty good. No issues with battery. I did find some of the buttons to be a little sharp when playing SSBU, but this got better over time. By either my thumb getting used to it, or it actually reducing the sharpness.I have noticed some small issues with the direction input that get interpreted slightly off while playing some games. It not a constant issue, and being a little bit more deliberate in my direction solves the issues. Some have talked about the drifting issue, which occurred a couple of times. But the problem went away after just charging the switch and controllers. That is not a reason not get these.

Mixed Feelings, Mixed Quality
Update: the right joy con of my replacement pair is dead. For some unknown reason, they just stopped working entirely. They dont charge, won't reset, and don't turn on. I'll be returning again. I won't be getting another one.I got these controllers when my OEM joy cons started drifting badly. I bought these so I could still play while my originals were getting repaired by Nintendo (which btw you can have fixed for free by Nintendo if it's the ones that originally came with your system). I didn't want to pay for another pair of official Nintendo controllers since clearly their controllers have issues despite the high price. These controllers already seemed hit or miss after reading all the reviews, but I figured I'd take a chance just so I didn't have to pay so much. Plus the different colors and the more ergonomic design was very appealing.Unfortunately I had to exchange my 1st set of clear joy cons for another pair. When I got the first pair of joy cons it seemed great--no drift, paired well, and charged. However, after using them a few times I noticed that one of the joy cons wasn't able to maintain its charge. As a result, the joy cons ate up my system's battery when I played it on the go. I couldn't see myself keeping controllers like that, so I exchanged them for another pair. The exchanged pair seems to be functioning as it should, but maybe it's too soon to tell. I'll update this review if that changes. When you get a working pair the controllers are pretty decent--they function as intended, but the buttons are a little stiff. Also, the directional sticks have a strange gap leading into the housing. Dust will likely build up there over time and cause issues with the controller's overall function. The ergonomic design is great and it's much more comfortable to play with than the OEM ones. On the other hand, the change in design means you can't use them in OEM mounting accessories.Overall its about what you'd expect from generic controllers--good for the price.

Good controllers for when you have friends over
I bought the grey joy cons as extras so friends could play, the buttons and motion functions worked great for the price. But being almost half the price of Nintendos official controllers it cheaps out a bit. The joy cons slide on to the switch console ok but the strap with L and R buttons feel like a battle putting on and taking off like I'm about to break something. If you want to use the joy cons as one controller you'll have to play with them in each hand because it wont fit on the controller pad. It feels like the battery life seems half as long (the average is 20 hours for official). If you just need some spare controllers for when company is over it's a good buy but I wouldn't use it as a replacement for frequent use.

Barely over a month and neither joy con works anymore!
I was intentionally pleased with this purchase, however one joy con stopped working 3 weeks after using it, and then the other followed suit shortly there afterwards. Neither of the joy cons were rough handle nor dropped, so IDK why they so quickly would no longer work.

I would not buy again
Red controller looses connection to switch often in the middle of a game. I have tried to contact the supplier and they will not respond
