My 10 yr old son has ADHD and has a hard time sitting for long periods of time without movement. He is easily distracted (like most boys are anyways). During distance learning in Spring I noticed it was difficult to keep my son engaged at his computer and stay engaged while his teacher was instructing him over Zoom for any length of time. Then over summer my son took on a bad habit of leaning backwards in his chair while playing video games and fell MANY times regardless of how many times I asked him to stop. On 1 occasion he broke his closet door falling into it. The final straw was breaking his brand new headphones that were just purchased for distance learning in Spring. The actual metal probe that inserts into his laptop was broken off into the laptop when he fell. Knowing California was ordered to 100% distance learning for Fall 2020, I decided I needed an alternate chair for him. I was given a recommendation to try a yoga ball for him. After extensive research, I chose this brand due to the great reviews and needing a particular size. My son is 10 years old and just under 5 ft tall weighing about 65 pounds. I decided on the 55cm would be best for his size/weight. After using this ball for 2 weeks during distance learning, both my son and I can say this is the PERFECT size for his height and his slightly lower desk (not a full size adult desk). He enjoys this new "chair" so much. Every day that I check on him during distance learning in his room he is fully engaged with his teacher and slightly bouncing/ swaying away. His teacher assured me his movement is not distracting during the 2.5 hour daily Zoom meetings as well. Therefore, we are all happy with this purchase!

The stability ball has a good thickness to it, the 'feet' help with balance, especially when used as a chair, and the color is very pleasing (I ordered blue). There is no detectable odor. The pump is ok, but it was really difficult for me to hold onto as I pumped so I had to put rubber bands around it to help me get a better grip (see picture). It was a Xmas gift for a 7 year old boy, and he loves it. I recommend this product.

Addendum: Just discovered that this ball is great for pregnant family member with back pain. She finds it much more comfortable than traditional chairs.Addendum: We've only had this ball for a few weeks and pieces have broken off two of the legs (see photos). Granted my hyperactive grandson has jumped around on this ball a lot but maybe they could use something other than soft rubber on the ends of the legs.Original Review: I'm homeschooling a grandson who is too active for public school. I had him in a swivel desk chair but his twirling and the noises he made in the chair made teaching difficult.Seated on the yoga ball, he still bounces but the bouncing makes no noise and he stays facing the computer. Thank God. We got in 5.5 hours of class on Friday which is a record.

I got this for my daughter for christmas and all the kids love it.

My tall (4’7”) almost 8 year daughter is using this with her desk for at-home remote learning and is loving it compared to a traditional stationary chair. I find she’ll sit there longer to do her work using this ball. I also purchased a smaller one for my 5 year old son. They’re both loving them. I love that the legs keep the ball nicely tucked in under the desk when the kids are not on them. They don’t end up rolling all over the place on their own, like a typical yoga ball. Aside from using them while doing school work, they also like to flip them over and bounce around the house, while holding onto the little legs. These are lots of fun in our house!Comes with a hand pump, an extra ball plug, an exercise band and several exercise and activity ideas to do while on the ball.

This was bought because my son who is autistic needs an energy outlet. Not only is it the perfect size for him to sit on and bounce but he can also move it around with his feet. Bonus is the fidget band. I have it around a dining room chair and he is now sitting at the dinner table for longer than a minute at a time.

This my 3rd time buying for Autistic & ADHD child. He Really Love the therapy ball but needs to have thicker layer bcuz it break’s easily. Please Mantra it doesn’t even Last 6 months this absurd 😤😩😩. Omg Please fix the ball

I teach special education and purchased these for flexible seating options. My kids love them, and they can definitely stand up to a beating. However, the legs don’t do anything. I spend half the day chasing these around the classroom trying to get them to stay put after the kids leave. They tend to roll around a lot.

I bought two of these as seating options in my Year 2 classroom (children aged 6-7). It's the perfect size for them and they really enjoy using them. They really help give the children the opportunity to move and bounce softly whilst doing their work - this really benefits some children and helps increase their focus for longer.They seem good quality so far and if they stand the test of daily use over the last few weeks of term, and if the cost doesn't increase, I'll buy two more for my class next year.

J'ai bien suivi les instructions de 1er gonflage en plusieurs étapes sur 48 heures : effectivement, le ballon ne se dégonfle presque pas alors que je m'en sers chaque jour aux repas, comme chaise, depuis 6 semaines.Les 5 "pattes" permettent au ballon de rester en place et ne posent pas de problème lors de son utilisation.Quant aux instructions d'exercices, elles ne sont fournis qu'en anglais sur le poster mais on peut les obtenir gratuitement (en français pour moi) en fournissant la preuve d'achat par mail à [email protected].
